Game Mode and HAGS should always be off, period.
I didn't say Frostbite was not well optimized. Just that it's sensible to system instability.
It seems beta does not run well with 4gb gpus. Even the 1080 low settings uses more than that and it stutters alot.
I hope it has dlss
DLSS is confirmed.
it seems that u need at least a 2070 to run this game at 100 fps, something that is really jarring, considering there s not much to justify this jump!!!! graphics doesn t look that different to bf5 tbh
Don't worry, it has been oficially confirmed that it has
Battlefield 2042: Accelerated with NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex
Now looking at those benchmarks, I'm getting a bit worried.
I have a 2070S, that is roughly similar to a 3060. And those 51 fps on average, at 1440p, are troublesome. Even if DLSS Quality gives a 30% boost, that's just just 66 fps.
I'll have to lower a few settings to reach at least 100 fps.
Ultra quality is very demanding so everybody should just play on high settings. Less stuttering and much higher fps. Our RX580 can do 60fps high settings 1080p but it seems thats not enough for you even though i think its smooth enough.
2070S is faster than 3060
it may be 7% but still counts
add at least 30% with dlss,probably 40%
you're fine with dlss
pascal/rdna users will have to drop a lot of settings down to get that 40% boost.a lot.probably medium preset.
huh,I thought dropping settings is for those that bought vram limited cards
well, what do you know about that
Huh? It helps alot. If it was a 4gb rx580 it would be severely limited even at lower settings.
And btw gratz on getting the 3060ti.
The game probably has an option for resolution scaling. Even if it's just a bilinear scaler, people might be able to lower it to 90% without noticing much loss in image quality.
Or if you a re a bit desperate, go even lower.
It would be nice if Dice had a Temporal Upscaler like Epic has on Unreal Engine.
If you are desperate i guess you could use a ingame resolution scaling or dlss or you could play the best quality and native image.
I have a 3060ti and went with everything high but texture quality/ filtering at ultra made a huge different from running everything ultra which was not very stable at all.
No i feel a lot of input lag at that fps, unplayable on a 144hrz monitor, as soon as i hit 95-100 gameplay feels smooth as in cod warzone but lower than that, unplayable
It is worrying ofc seeing that a 2070 is suffering to make 100 fps at 1080p
just don't ever remind me it cost 650eur
The problem is not so much that the 2070S can only do 60 fps, but that it's almost impossible to upgrade at this time, without paying exorbitant prices.
It's normal that when a new gen of consoles is released, that the requirements for games increase significantly.
BTW, someone already compared the game on consoles and PC
That is actually not a bad price. For a 650eur i can only find 3060 with a single fan.
yup,not a bad deal at all,it's gigabyte gaming triple fan
and considering the 1070 i paid 150eur for is already recieving 265eur bids an hour after I put it for sale I might end up paying less than 350eur for 1070-3060Ti upgrade.Which is pretty awesome actually given the times.
told you, dlss is priceless for rtx20 series already, and it will be further down the road for my 3060Ti too.If it's gonna be there then rtx20/30 series owners are set.
Geez,I forgot they added it to rdr2 too in the meantime, gotta get it and crank up the settings.Promised myself that I won't touch it until I have a card that runs 1440p Ultra at ~60fps or in the ballpark.I had an itch to play it with 1070 at xbox one x settings +40fps but im glad I waited.
