I went for the gold since greenmangaming had it at 20% off a few ago. I probably should have just hone for the basic but I think I'll get a lot of gameplay out of this.
Probably delay to late November - more and more peple say, so does Tom Henderson, the leaker of all prev. Titles (who was always right with the given info).
A month delay so soon before supposed release doesn't bode well - same happened with Cyberpunk and it was usual stench of game getting bounced from console certification. A month isn't a lot of time to fix any kind of bugs that would be serious enough to warrant delay in the first place.
Dice already had their big CP2077 moment, when they released BF4. But at least they managed to fix most of it. Eventually.
Game being announced in 2012 doesn't mean that it was one and the same product being built upon linearly for that many years. It was in preproduction until late 2016 and that project was scrapped nearly in its entirety aside some plot points. The game that we got was a product of last 4 or so years of development. Either way i'm not comparing production cycle but end result, if you want a closer comparison - BF4 was also absolutely horrid on release.
I'm pretty sure nearly every battlefield video game has had issues on release.... this will be no different regardless of how long they delay it.
The big exception to that rule was BF1, sure it had its balance issues, but glaring bugs were at a minimum and performance was great. BFV that came after was a shitstorm with literally everything being the opposite and cherry on the top - it actually looked a lot worse than the BF1.
Well, there also was BF Hardline in the middle lol. It also came out pretty okay, it's just that nobody cared about it.
You are right, lol, totally forgot about that. Decent singleplayer but the multi I only remember going on servers where everybody would drive around in circles for $ and everyone running with that K10 when actual shooting was going on. But yeah, performance and bugs wise it was ok also.

The funny thing is that this short gameplay trailer raised my interest more than anything they released before. What a shame I don't play online competitive shooters anymore...
Was thinking about that but the equivalent minimum intel CPU they recommend has 4 cores and the 3600 is still faster than a 2700x is it not ?
