Really getting tired of the streaming issues this game has, it was funny for first 6 months. Now it's just sad.
BF2142 posters are the only BF posters I'm going to get. The Battlefield games are horribly buggy and have been since forever. BF2042 is horribly buggy on top of being a poorly made game. I gave up on the franchise while trying to launch BF2042 three months ago. It crashed twice while trying to start it up. I don't know of any other AAA title that does this crap. This sucks, Battlefield is my most played shooter and I've bought and/or played every Battlefield game except BC1 and BF2: Modern Combat. I've pretty much been playing since the Desert Combat mod a year before BF2 released until I was too busy with sh*t and sleeping during the afternoon in real life after work(I skipped BF1 and 5). Pre-2005 I liked watching my relatives play the Desert Combat mod when I was elementary school. I remember one of my relatives installing BF1942+Desert Combat on the PC my dad built for me to use when I was in middle school and playing the ever lasting sh** out of it.
I have over 300 hours in BF2042 and have never seen such a bug. I do get the Lis Rocket camera and vehicle bug but that's only on Solo/Coop Conquest. As far as i can tell a nerf to the VHX-D3 won't happen soon as it's a new gun that 90% of players including myself haven't unlocked yet. I think i'm at lvl 15 of the new premium battle pass which i paid for this time around. It seems to me but i might be wrong but it feels harder this time around to get battle pass levels. Some of the bonus quests are hard to get. Like getting 25 melee kills in less than a week. If you miss even one quest then you don't get the weekly bonus of 10 BattlePass levels.
Yeah, they never fixed the CTD issue when launching the game. It tends to happen after every update. Deleting the files in the cache folder within My Documents resolves it until the next update.
Does anyone know how to cap FPS using the in engine limiter with console commands? The one command I find (something with simulation in it) doesn't really work and apparently RTSS is not working with their latest anticheat.

Yeah, it's a sh-tshow. That in-game command only worked for a month after launch. When it was working you couldn't even save it in the config file like previous titles so you would have to type it into the console every time you launched the game.
U should have played bf1 and bf5, the level design is amazing on all the maps, and both games look great even by today standard
That's weird, the nvidia cap in control panel does work for me but as I said it feels stuttery on my pc so I'd rather not use it.
I can't get over how much this game failed after all that hype. Who in the hell is answering the survey's and play testing the Battlefield series today? 62 IQ morons? 8 year old kids with there parents? The Sergey Titov clone army or some crap? Also, people didn't want a singleplayer campaign but when BF2042 released crap loads of people started pissing and moaning for one. I don't understand how anyone can play that s***. It's a B-tier movie compared to Call of Duty's singleplayer campaigns it's that bad. Medal of Honor failed because of how bad, hand holdy, and heavily scripted the singleplayer was. I guess the only reason Battlefield is still around is because people continue to cling to it. It's got the dedicated fanbase. I guess people who played BF1942 and BF2 are now buying the nuBattlefields for their kids.
We only play games to have fun. If a game is giving you that fun then i doesn't matter how bad you might think it is. The only other reason to play is of course if it's your job as a streamer or content creators making YT videos but BF2042 is not really a game people stream on Twitch. You can have fun playing single player campaigns but mostly it's trying to own real people on multiplayer which is more fun. FPS games are the reason i got into PC culture in the first place and BF1942 + Mods was one of the best games i ever played especially the Desert Combat Final mod. Dice got rid of modding and instead gave us Portal. It's not really the same as modding but there are some fun portal options. I just wish BF2042 had destruction like BattleBit and previous BF games had some form of it like using C4 to take down buildings. BF needs levolution and 2042 fails in my PoV. You only get a bit of it with small crators from explosions.
