It ran great, i played on high during Alpha and it was very smooth, not sure on FPS didnt have anything on to track it, but it ran great. I will see hwo Beta runs tonight and post here.

I'm at 80+ fps maxed in 1440p, enabled vsync for lulz and it never once dipped under 60. This game is either extremely well optimized, or there are some options that are missing/not producing actual Ultra. Vram usage is ~4GB mark, +/- 200MB.

With a game like this I get the desire again for a fancy g-sync 144Hz monitor, must... resist. :D

I still think tanks are ok, sure this map is more open compared to the alpha map but once people start using the tank buster planes and infantry unlock the long range anti tank round launcher people will have more to fight them with.

I guess its more like Golmund from BF4, where vehicles have a bit of an advantage. Like i said i had no problems with tanks during alpha, if anything i found them less annoying.

I really don't like Battlefield's gameplay but figured I'd try the beta and it runs well, 1080p/60fps with occasional dips on ultra, so I will dial a couple of settings back to high for a full 60fps locked experience.

Would expect the 970 to hold 60fps on ultra, with vSync off my 980 was sitting around 150fps on ultra, shouldn't be that much difference that it can't hold 60

the gameplay feels amazing when u search for anyone nearby before making your next move to snipe someone, feels so satisfying as the gameplay is slower where u think before u act and thereby i feel the gameplay is much much better at this pace, or at least it suites me sniffing the hills and house around before taking my next kill, enjoying it a lot, i love dice.

144hz for BF is a game changer, absolutely. I was playing BF4/3 with +80fps at reasonable settings. 144hz just blew my mind away tbh, it 'engages' you more and is way more immersive if that makes sense... and obviously gives you an edge.

Not sure then sorry, I would have thought they would have a server list to choose from, but I don't see it, unless it's in a config file
