Been trying out the game on Origin's Trial period.
Been playing the campaign... and, firstly, of course... the game looks insane.
Thought I was having some kind of graphical glitch when a German tank rolled by... and it was green, red and yellow. But, I also remember from what I studied... that's actually how they did camo back then.

Now, since I'll never go online... I could see myself playing this campaign and enjoying it. But, it would have to be for cheap.
I got BF3 for like... 8 bucks, and got Hardline for 10. If I could get BF1 for around the same, and I enjoy the campaign... I think it'd be worth it.

sorry man i know ur sp kinda guy, but to buy bf1 for only the campaign i think ud better reconsider ur options, ur missing out on the purpose and the beauty of the game, is playing online 64 player server is what the game is made for so i think ur gonna be missing out quite a lot and spending just to play the sp...

Like I said, I would only get it if it was under 10 bucks.
There's zero way I would ever buy it at full price, or even half price.

Imo bf1 isn't worth retail price even for both sp and mp. I only bought BF1 because I need a new mp game to play while I'm bored, sober, and on probation and can't smoke cannabis for six months.

23 euros on sale, it certainly is worth that much.
Gameplay wise Rising Storm 2 Vietnam is a better game, but perf. wise... man..

Honestly, I think this is the best optimized game ever.
2560x1440 High @70Hz FreeSync 64 players, I dont think it drops bellow 60fps. Phenomenal frame times, nonexistent hiccups.

This is the pinnacle of DX11
And it has always been like that. The very best of DX api always comes at the end of life mark.
Too bad about DX12, its only decent on my rig.

nah... you paid what 50, 60 bucks?
Any game you're willing to pay full price, you would have died, had you waited this long,

Every game costs 5 moneys somewhere down the line. Except ARMA 3

I bought the Deluxe version last month then about a week later premium because I got tired of waiting in line to join a server then being kicked because I didn't have premium. I waited this long because I didn't have a EVGA GTX 1070 8Gb video card or the money to buy it till early this year and last month I got bored when worked slowed down a bit and needed a multiplayer game to play.

I have mixed opinion about buying or not...
I do know that premium is -almost- needed for accessing everything (dont really care about "premium friends" or trials)
    BUT
to everyone bought now..is it easy to join or too much waiting/ not enough players at base game maps?

IMO 40 euros is too much for it's pr. pass.

I just found something valuable for CPU performance.

Do not use RTSS FPS limiter for this game. Put 0 value for RTSS and cap your FPS in the in-game fps limiter to your refresh rate, which is in my case 60. This will oddly decrease the CPU usage by same amount consistently.

And also use pre-render 2, if you don't have NVIDIA, then create user.cfg and put this RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2

Shouldn't the latter increase input lag? I always keep it as low as possible.
