i was doing something very wrong the past 5 months,
i bought the 4k series 7 samsung tv, with 18ms input lag, and i ve been on 2k native resolution on desktop thinking that the 970 won't be enough , i was seeing somewhat blurry image in games and on desktop, i didn't know that u always need to set it up as native 4k resolution on desktop and then drop down to 2k inside the game options, and voila, no more blurriness and bf1 looks absolutely superb at 1440p now, i cant believe how smooth it feels and looks, no AA used as i see no jaggies at 1440p, now i realized what i did wrong the past 5 month

 

Does some1 still play this game or why cant some1 just make a platon? Its not hard, doesnt take long...

Yup done and dusted, but had to revert to older drivers as was getting massive frame drops to 14fps, don't know why maybe because of latest insider build and latest drive? But older driver fixed it

 

I need to say that after this Update DirectX 12 is almost as good as DirectX 11, in performance, still there is startup slowdown like 10fps or lower but after 5sec its back to normal. The performance compare to DX11 is like 6fps slower (BIG DX12, advertise improvments bull$) but it doesn't crash the game so thats why I play it in this mode. In DX11 it crashes dx11.renderer error

Im not sure if its me or the Image quality is little better on DirectX 12, every time I switch between the 11 and 12 I can clearly see much more detail on grass and floor brick etc.
Its not like significant but visible if you play sometime and switch modes.

 

I got those massive drops, too and im on 382.33. Also thought about going back, see if that helps like it did help you.

 

Epic game had to patch their engine for the new drivers, i would assume DICE face similar issues with Frostbite

 

I tried another map today and again, the game was very fluent. I did have some bad network lag though.
Guess I'll have to dig through the network symbols to resolve that...

 

..but srsly..September the 2nd DLC!? And the free Night Maps should be still only for those who own Premium... uke2: which ofc they didnt mention.

Maybe they gonna be free after all!? Tho i read they are premium exclusive a few months ago.

 

Meh. More revisionist history and pandering by EA.

 

Anyone else feel like this game is dying? My server browser is looking pretty empty, and quickmatch often throws me into empty matches.
