This is the reason I didnt buy premium pass this time round, they did this for BF4.
All DLC eventually became free for everyone.
    The game is SH1T anyway.

I like this game. Good visuals, good destruction model which changes the gameplay - I love it.
Why do they ask to purchase premium in addition to base game? Because they can :) Game is good, so people will pay, and they did :)

Bought 2 DLC's but requested refunds each time after 1 day because there are no people playing Operations, impossible to start new game. So from my experience game is good and fun but because of the silly DLC-Premium situation people who own it don't actually play it.

I played BF3 and BF4 exlusively for years. When BF1 came out, it was so similar to the disappointing game play of SW Battlefront, I stopped playing.after a couple of weeks. It sucked when it came out.

Fast-forward to last week... I was tired of playing PUBg and have been in search of a decent shooter since my sad experience with the initial release of BF1. After looking around a bit and not wanting to spend my money on anyone else's crappy shooter, I started playing BF1 again last week and found they improved the game play to a point where it is again the best shooter around, but on the PC I found there are few people playing as wantobe alluded to. Now what???

EA really screwed the pooch with the initial release of BF1.
How do you get people back playing a game years later when the gameplay in the initial release is so poor?

I did the same thing, tried to play on initial release, hated it. Tried again a year later, and its not too bad. Got game and prem pass el cheapo round Christmas time, $30 total.

Rubbish. lots of operation games/maps in play.
IDK why you people keep up with the disinformation campaign.
I play it everyday. This crap just isn't true.
I guess i'll have to take some screen shots to prove it.
Stay tuned...The truth is out there.

Free DLC won't help bring more PC players, Servers now mostly empty...Anyway, BFV is coming this year...BFV will die fast who knows?

Maybe DICE should join forces with Bohemia Interactive and Tripwire Interactive.

These guys know how to make games, and DICE knows how to make an engine :)
Although even DICE cant make DX12 work :D :D
    (yet)

Thats cool they did this. I bought the premium pass and have no regrets i think the french entry is one of the best. It had a great feel to the game. Rupture is one of the best maps in the game IMO. I also liked the Russian entry. I dont normally buy the premuim pass/ season pass but the amount of maps that comes with it was well worth it on top of the standard maps which are all great

Yes, I do. I think maps are important and find it difficult to visualise playing an FPS without them.

They could give the entire game away at this point and I still don't care. That's sad considering Battlefield used to be my favorite game series (1942, bf2 days).
