    @Radeon card users (with you):
NOTE: if any Radeon card then not all max's because the limitation of PhysX option is up to "normal". ;)

They guy posts with 8x MSAA and you are trying to make his score less relevant?

This entire thread people posted with all kinds of different settings and I for one like seeing what peoples personal visual tastes are like and where they find a balance between visuals and performance.

His test is as relevant as any other.

I think you missed his point. He didn't say the guy's score was irrelevant (because it's not)! He simply said that it was wrong to state that the benchmark was run at max; unfortunately, no AMD cards can sucessfully run this at max due to the PhysX limitations - this was the point that ricardonuno1980 was making (nothing wrong with that!).

Just got the retail box game yesterday, benchmark option was already included upon install....first, screenshot of my setting, had to run 1920x1200 since it's the native res of my monitor.

    Benchmark result:

Edit _ I also happen to have an FX8350 + 2x GTX670 setup, will run the benchmark on that and see how it does....

    Below is my run with my FX8350 + 2x GTX670 SLi'ed, at same setting as my R9 290X run...but at 1080P instead.
Now, with max setting at 1080P...

I guess I can run the game maxed out on this rig and still get a very good gaming experience....

Here are my benches at 2 resolutions

    3930k @ 4.6Ghz 1.36v
MSI GTX 770 Lightning SLI +70Mhz OC
    GPU 1: 1220Mhz (1333Mhz Boost) 41c Max
    GPU 2: 1220Mhz (1306Mhz Boost) 41c Max
    Power Target: 109%
    Temp Target 95c

1080p Everything maxed out but No AA
    [IMG]

1440p Everything maxed out but No AA
    [IMG]

1440p Everything maxed out with AA 8xAA
    [IMG]

I Play at 2560x1440 with no AA
During the 1080p bencchmark, i noticed my first card would not boost. it was just sit there
1150Mhz (i have 1220Mhz OC on it and it would boost to 1333Mhz). The second card however is
    fine.
the higher resolutions benchmark, the boost are fine, both running 1333Mhz and 1306Mhz

Why would this happpen in 1080p?
    Usage at the time:
    GPU1: 1150Mhz 40-50% usage
    GPU2: 1306Mhz 80-90% usage

(please note at title screen, the boosts are normal lol)
I am playing Borderlands 2 atm and the boost clocks are fine as well.

Nvida's driver is known to be a little heavier on cpu, especially uber GK110 chips, OC it some more and you will see the difference.

edit: That's why I always test cpu bound game benchmarks with new drivers
    Re5 - fixed,
    LP2 - fixed,
both at low reso @ 720p dx9 cpu bottleneck,
Hard Reset max with fxaa@ 1080p,

to see if there is any difference, if there is then it will be good in the rest.

you maxed the game at 1080 and got 62fps minimum and that's about as good as it's gonna go, kinda a shame but whatever, hopefully batman DK will have benchy too.
I could max the game and get the same probably after seeing it do my presets and getting around 62 minimum too.
i'm actually surprised you got that much, with my 3570k it didn't perform as optimal as my current and it's noticeable in many things. (mostly games and benchies).
    my 4690k @4.5 whooped my 3570k @4.8

Btw that min fps happens almost right at the beginning and its a vram bandwidth MSAA/TXAA bottleneck then anything else.

Test only with FXAA and you will see what I mean. :)

My old 570gtx @ 950mhz got 69fps there but yeah FXAA, rest max physx-high and lower 720p reso.

idk now, didnt test anything else only 4xMSAA or with 4xTXAA.
