Played this for about an hour...a few observations:-

    1. The visuals are stunning, honestly a massive leap over the previous games, but marred by poor anti-aliasing and a lot of background shimmering. You can see how iffy the AA is on thin fences as they half-disappear! Transitions from the opening FMV to in-game engine was also seamless...I only knew because the GPU usage went from 1% to 35%.

    2. I got an average of 76 FPS in the benchmark with everything maxed at 1920x1200 and all the GameWorks features on but the actual game is capped at 30 FPS!!! Yeah, great console port, Rocksteady! Sure, you might be able to edit the config files but that's not really the point is it?

    3. VRAM usage on Normal textures, the game's highest setting, rose to around 5.6 to 5.9 GB!!!

    4. Gameplay feels instantly familiar but it feels like an evolution on the previous games, thanks to the stunning presentation and graphics. The batmobile looks fantastic and is fun to drive; it's just a shame that its tank mode isn't. It feels like it belongs in another game...hopefully it is not overused.

Game seems very promising but the PC version could have been a bit better in terms of graphics options, especially AA (where are the MSAA, SMAA and TXAA options?). Also that 30 FPS cap is a sore reminder that this game was made for consoles first and foremost, and is bound to annoy the PC community.

Yeah it's pretty high, stuttery mess with normal textures on a 2gb card, seems to resolve itself on low.

Would I need Nvidia inspector to do the bottom part? GFE doesn't seem to have downloaded anything but I get worse performance with SLi on my 2x970s.

After updating Nvidia drivers to 353.30 MSI AfterBurner OSD stopped working in this game (GTX 970).

    Anyone else?

Game keeps dipping to about 40 fps with neither cpu or gpu maxed out.
    Stutters like mad when driving.

Shame because its really good so far.

So has anyone attempted enabling AA through Nvidia Inspector yet? Also I'm surprised there isn't a GeForce Tweak guide yet. Wth Nvidia?

Yeah the stutters are crazy, low textures helps quite a bit but it's still bad

Seeing a lot about that in the steam forums

It was already set to 0x080000F1 in Inspector but I still get worse performance with Sli, anyone else having the same issue?

I was kind of expecting it to be a stutter fest since it's UE3 and basically every game in this engine is plagued by streaming issues, but had little hope that by being an upgraded version, the problem wouldn't be present this time. oh well

Wonder if the console versions suffer from this too

CryZENx, I'm not sure the day one patch is released yet and by the looks of thing Rocksteady uploaded a wrong build to steam. Lots of people are getting a very small update the makes you download the entire game again. It happened to me. Amateurs!

damn, i've actually managed to fall asleep just a few minutes before the game got unlocked

just ran the ingame benchmark though. results aren't great but that's no surprise. i just hoped they weren't that bad and so much off from the previous titles, the framerates basically got halved here. was hoping it didn't turn out that bad...

    min: 10
    max: 48
    avg: 24

that is with normal texture resolution, high shadow quality and level of detail.

and i won't lie, i have to admit i am a little disappointed with how the game looks. perhaps i had too high expectations but it does not look like in the several footages i've seen.

guess i'm better off not touching it again until my new card arrives. hopefully the stutter issue a lot people mentioned will be already fixed by then.

Pretty disappointing that the card they're touting with this game runs it like crap.
