Batman: Arkham Knight

yep it was a mess, i remember my 4870x2 having trouble in DX11 but perfect in DX9 (or 10 whichever else it used).

Same on my GTX480 it also has issues on DX11 but was slightly better apart from PhysX destroying the fps in places.

And my HD7970 had issues too but was easily the best of the bunch.

 

Why does bats and even all the goons he takes on look so downright anorexic and tiny? They look like bad guys from an iOS game almost.

Said it before and I'll say it again it's a terrible character model. Truly awful compared to the ones in previous outings, not that I will allow that to dent my enjoyment of the game.

 

arkham delayed for 3 weeks

 

I'd prefer it non buggy.

 

3 weeks isn't too bad of a delay, it'll give me more time with The Witcher 3 also, unless that gets another delay

 

3 weeks is nothing, can't do much extra polishing in that time-frame either, so there's got to be some marketing thinking behind it or some other such reason.

Well at least its the same month, and considering the launch of AC: Unity, I actually don't mind a delay in favor of a less buggy experience.

 

what have AC: unity and ubisoft have to do with batman?

batman has always been made by rocksteady studios and published by warner bros

absolutely nothing to with unity or ubisoft

Damn it I really wanted a boxed retail version too. This is only going to serve to hike the price up on many sites.

 

That s bit unfair to those who don't have decent net caps. Makes even less sense when its only the UK that is affected. What the reasoning behind that? Id assume that the US has better internet services than the UK.

They know they can charge more for it since its only on steam, with no retail, that takes away the ability for getting it cheaper in stores.

I suppose you could import a retail copy from the US.

 

you assume wrong sir, you can get mostly cable in the US that's so heavily congested sometimes its barely usable unless you live in a city and pay the premium

the UK is fast becoming one of the leading countries for broadband speeds in europe with speeds upto 80meg on combined copper line plus fibre to the local cabinet or full fibre with speeds upto 330meg or 1gb if your a large business.

i do agree thats its unfair as some people do have capped services or mobile wireless internet ect but for most the packages are all unlimited

 

UK and unlimited 78 meg connection here so it's not like I'm starved for downloads or anything. I just find it unfair and close to downright disrespectful that some get a full retail version and we don't. And without any form of explanation.

Yes I still like to buy boxed copies of games I truly am excited about although to be fair the more I see of this the less excited I am about it as I think Rocksteady are way overrated to a certain extent.

There's always key sites obviously but then with no UK physical release I can see prices for it being sky high compared to say something like Arkham Origins.

As with the past games, I could care less about their DLC "mission packs" and skins.
I'm in this series for the story, and the story alone.

Arkham City's story DLC sucked, thankfully Arkham Origins' story DLC was great.
