re-downloaoded origins and luckily it saved my progress like it's done before.
i went back and finally beat the second Bane boss fight, using three wall takedowns which proved successful.
was about to get back into game when after a few QTE with joker the credits started rolling.
gonna start again on game+ as i basically can't remember that much about it tbh.
47 hours i played as well lol. the hell have i been doing

Dunno man ... it's obviously an edited video with effects which won't be in the final version (the slo mo stuff I mean) but that just didn't excite me :-/ I dearly hope the pacing of the game is good.

Texture quality seems great, even if it's not so easy to tell from scans.
PBR is absolutely striking though.

 

Ill believe it when i see it. As far as those screens are concerned = Bullshots. Why even mention texture quality.

Bullshots in terms of IQ maybe but actual assets look legit. You haven't seen the game in motion, have you ?
It looks highly detailed. Materials and post-processing give the game a CGI look.

I've seen pretty much all of the trailers, they're nothing special and certainly dont look like the above screenshots or any other non-scanned screens ive seen. Printed mags always have photoshopped images. I have plenty of old mags that have Mass Effect 1 and other older games looking like they were made on UE4 or FrostByte, then look at the actual game, nothing like it.

Yeah assets. I cant argue about that. Im pretty sure Batman will make an appearance in Batman Arkham Knight. Im pretty sure there will even be some radio towers like the one in the image above.

So, yeah. Obviously IQ is what my previous post was about. Im not about to argue that buildings, bad guys and bats arent going to be in the game.

I dont get it. If the last few years of games releases have proven, the screenshots are nothing like the end product. I think the closest it came was with the metro series and Crysis 3 and even thats pushing it. Dont know why people like hype things up. Its like they want to be disappointed or have short memories.

 

You are generalizing.
Trying to apply a standard to the entire industry, and every game released simply because of the results of a few. And those few, coming from one publisher.

Sorry, but previous Batman games ended up looking like the pre-release material. Wolf:TNO, The Evil Within, Shadow Warrior, BioShock: Infinite, Alien: Isolation... and many, many others not only looked like their pre-release marketing shots, but in a lot of cases actually better.

Rocksteady and Warner Bros have done nothing to give anyone any reason to believe a Batman game will have a serious visual downgrade at release.

New trailer. Dare I say it looks pretty amazing.

This game is going to be a showcase for Nvidia hardware.

 

It's also been rated "M for Mature".

Where as Rocksteady's previous two Arkham games and Akrham Origins were rated "T for Teen".
It's interesting that Rocksteady's final installment in the series gets a higher rating, betting this one will be much darker then the previous installments.

 

And what makes you say that?


To me it looks more like a showcase for proper U3.9? engine, finally about the same fidelity as by Samaritan demo, Almost.
