so... the only consolation for all around god-awful AMD performance in the newest AAA title are SLI issues identified and published by Nvidia itself

gloating over lack of SLI polish on day 1, while we can't run single GPU configs??
wow rly, are we that pathetic?

Well, it would keep the 'Green has better drivers at launch then Red' at bay.

Uhm, pretty much the whole thread revolved around this?

Edit: Ehm, wait. The thread revolved around the drivers, my bad. Sorry.

The thread is about drivers and issues with a game not yet released. The game will be capable of functioning with AMD hardware yes on Windows, we already know that. Or is it the first NVIDIA exclusive?
The problems we will most likely face is stuttering/tessellation performance issues/no crossfire support/crossfire support but flickering or stuttering
None of the issues above mean the game isn't playable or capable, just the usual GameWorks title.
You can't compare it to the PS4 even if it has the same hardware. PS4 isn't using our OS, drivers or API...

you are right, this is what amd just did now with this 15.6 beta driver, but this is all they can do with this gameworks thing, its gameworks thats causing all problems..

Should it really be the headache of the consumers that gameworks aren't allowing AMD to optimize their drivers? I don't think so. If AMD can't negotiate with the developers, they deserve to go bankrupt.

NVIDIA give money to the company/person that funds the game. In turn they must use GameWorks. Fact of the matter is, NVIDIA has more money to spend on things like this.

it's the same 15.5 with optimization for batman, which is the same 15.4 with optimization for witcher which is the same 15.3 with optimization for gta which is the same 14.12.
Gotta wait for the official merging of the branches.

I just saw this at Rocksteady forums...

"The minimum specs for Batman: Arkham Knight for PC have been adjusted and are listed below.

We also want to note that there are some known issues with the performance of Batman: Arkham Knight for PC owners using AMD graphics cards. We are working closely with AMD to rectify these issues as quickly as possible and will provide updates here as they become available. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

    MINIMUM:
OS: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required)
    Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
    Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB Memory Minimum) | AMD Radeon HD 7950 (3 GB Memory Minimum)
    DirectX: Version 11
    Network: Broadband Internet connection required
Hard Drive: 45 GB available space"

Really? a 7950 as minimum? The 660 compared with the 7950 loses in every situation. What the hell is wrong with this game? I'm seeing Assassins Creed: Unity launch failiure all over again... Thanks to game"doesn't"works...

So to anyone who is using the new 15.6 or 3xx series driver, HOW IS IT RUNNING FOR YOU?

No one has reported back. By all accounts the game is running horribly on NV hardware. Maxwell and Kepler all suffer to get 60 fps, and even then there is constant stuttering and frame drops.

How are AMD 290 and 290x cards performing, this is what we need to know.

The game is broken. Wait for a patch, and check the Steam forums out? It's running horrible for both red and green alike.

The game is not broken, it is out for testing you guys. They just want to the gamers feedback so once the game of the year edition comes out, it would be bugs free :D

Yes of course. The game probably is bottlenecking Quad and Octa Core CPUs, and will require a Hexa core processor with Quad SLI/CF to run properly.
