That tends to happen on guru3d.... when you post in here about your new video card you will end up getting spanked by the nerdforce.
You should have been aware of that when you posted.
After all you will end up with a better graphics card for pretty much the same amount of cash... not too bad after all

 

If he started this thread before he bought the card everything would be fine.

Interesting that so few folks know about XFX being that they've actually been around for-ev-er.

XFX = Pine Technology's gaming arm

 

Maybe it's a case like me where until recently, the only brands available locally were Diamond, PNY, Visiontek and eVGA (and until their bankruptcy, BFG). If it wasn't for reading Hilbert's reviews, I wouldn't have known of XFX until my local BestBuy started carrying their cards recently. Not everyone buys online....or even looks online for components.

 

IMO the Picarin is the best GCN card AMD made this gen the Tahiti is more powerful yes but the performance per watt is not as good. You will be thanking us trust me.

 

ohhh those benchmarks that give you no more then a idea how it runs ok.....no he is using it hans on and saying its faster and i dont really doubt it because even if it was the technology is alot newer hence running the new games better now older games yeah i can see 295 doing better but op already said 7770 way better in bf3 and what ever outher game he was playing you can go back and read

I think someone else said this earlier but isn't Frostbite2.0 optimized for DX11 but is DX10 compatible that would explain the game running better on a DX11 based card.

AMD are contracted to design the GPU, the Console makers then get the GPUs made themselves, AMD do not make and sell GPUs to the consoles.
