Hello Currently using a B460M-DS3H Motherboard and Intel 10700 (was a local shops combo) when i upgraded in June 2020, debating if it's worth sticking with this board, or purchasing when i can a Z490 or Z590 board, and transferring over to the new board, and doing the hardware transfer for very first time myself. Or is too much hassle and just stick with what i'm using now
I switched to red team a year ago but comparing the chipsets you've mentioned......... , if you're m.2 is nvme x4 capable i'd say no, unless you need built in IntelĀ® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 wifi, vrm`s are getting toasty or you plan on getting 11th gen intel.
I switched back in 2017 from Red Team, to Intel/Nvidia, after being on AMD based systems from 2003-2016, after that AMD FX, i was ready for a change, and back to Intel, Well my nvme is x4 capable, and running at that currently, and got a AX3000 wifi 6 adapter installed, AX200, with Bluetooth 5.0 in my Pcie x1 slot, so guess wouldn't be worth going thru the trouble of switching board, and all the hardware to newer board as i thought about it more
