    Far Cry 2 looked great!

(but only about 1% of the map where there was lush green grass/plants). The rest of the game looked like a dried up brown turd lol

Good to see they are putting the engine to good use. Green grass ftw!

ofcourse man. i think i sound like a console fanboy lol...but gaming on PC is priceless and it happens same amount on consoles.

And again TRUE that they adopt to pc with lack of so many things. i mena, they simple ignore MW2. and OFP Dragon rising same. still no dedicated servers for that game..and controls visuals r weak. at least MW2 has no issues with visuals and controls but its ODD why they ignore their loyal FANs. shamefully MW2 showed that : even they told about no dedicated servers, they sold millions. interesting.

will try demo of AVATAR. iam really interested with it. i love TPS games so much u know.

You hit the nail on the head.
This is Lost Planet in the jungle 100%, game wont run over 30FPS no matter what I do, so console port but plays smooth none the less, but I did like LP so this is fun for me.
I would not buy it new, ill wait till its $20.00 or some thing.

Maybe because I don't know what Lost Planet is
I think the demo is kind a cool.
    It's very well done.
    Runs smooth on my rig.
Might pick it up just to have something new to play.

Um, right. Maybe you need to read up on exactly which North Korean's are starving. I guarantee you it's not the government. They keep nuclear missile testing, don't they?

    I loved the demo.

Unique world, the maps are big to explore and the graphics are very good.

    And it is fun.

did i miss something? the demo i got is only one very small map and also very linear, theres nothing to explore aside from following the path. Is there a different demo or something?

i saw someone post night shots and areas and vehicles i didnt recognize in my demo, so i must be missing something

for all the ones that have trouble getting the demo startet.

mine crashed first too..then i was reading its a dx9 bug..so i searched in user files the avatar config . xml..

    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Avatar Demo
    its the file: GamerProfile.xml

openend it with editor and searched for d3d9

    then i changed d3d9 to d3d10

and saved it..after that the game startet and was running great..

    hope it helped^^
