Avatar franchise and Snowdrop engine what could possibly go wrong, right? Well, it's developed by Massive, so pretty much everything :)

Anyway, here is the long-awaited in-engine reveal trailer:

A bit more technical details are in the video below. They'll be using ray-traced GI and reflections. Visibility will be handled by GPU and they will also introduce new micro-detail system.

I don't think any of these videos or screenshots are new.

That being said, I am pretty excited for E3, chances are high we will see new footage of the game. From a technical standpoint, Avatar is definately the most interesting game to release this year. It will be a true next gen experience.

It`s nice to see they are going to have a playable 1st person view for this 1. Be even better if they released an actual demo.

It's going to be interesting to see how much farther they can push this engine. Snowdrop is 6yrs old at this point and really kinda looks like it's a good fit for the game. The upgrades essentially boil down to doing landscapes instead of cities. Which is pretty cool and something that should get them even more years out of the engine.\

I also can't wait to hear more about it's RT systems.

Multiple sites are reporting a delay and quoting 2023/2024 from Ubisoft.
