Hey Guys, Auzen released specs info about their new upcoming Native PCI-E X-fi with full non down sampling HDMI 1.3 support. This new card looks very nice and seems to have everything people have been looking for. Some were worried about software support as no current apps supported such hi resolution standards. It seems NVidia and CyberLink are onboard for this project aswell so it looks like people will finally be able to get full High resolution A/V from Blu-rays...

I wonder what happens to the Prelude xtension HDMI. If they cancel it I will :biggun: them and go Asus cause I originally bought the Prelude only for its future HDMI capability.

Don't worry. Both cards were developed at the same time. The HDMI 1.3 X-tension to be a solution for current Prelude owners. The new Combo card for guys that don't own the Prelude. I have been following the development of their cards since the beginning.

    Thanks Robscix

    others questions:

1- are the analog I/O section on the 40 pin extension board with the coax and optical output?

2- can this traditional output perform Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD?

    Regards

    Ugo

    1. No that is for future expansion cards. There is a combo digital output jack
    2. No normal Digital output S/PDIF cannot handle these high resolution formats. Your limited to Dolby Digital Live and DTS-Connect on that output. If you look in the other thread there is more info HERE

it wont get it thats why they made home theater.

[AZT] The HDMI extension board for X-Fi Prelude 7.1 will not be available as we determined internally.

We will release the Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater 7.1 in the middle of next month. It has HDMI 1.3 Input and Output port.

The data from a graphic card go through the HDMI 1.3 Input port, then audio and video data come out through HDMI 1.3 Output port at the same time.

The extension board will decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD(by Blu-ray) in software such as PowerDVD and get real multi-ch high resolution Audio and Video signal.

We appreciate your support and kind interest in our product line.

If the implement a upgrade program for people interested in moving to HDMI 1.3 then everything should be good.

The Analog connections are on a Breakout cable. If you look at the picture of the card it has a small 15 pin D-sub connector this is for the breakout cable that has:
4 X 1/8" mini jacks for line outputs
    1 X 1/8" mini for Line input
    1 X 1/8" mic input

This card has full HDMI 1.3 I/O, S/PDIF (DDL & DTS-C) and analog conenctions.
