    Greetings

For past 3-4 years, I've been playing following automotive/racing games, and just can't get enough of them. Even though I work in IT field, my passion for automotive world is almost on same level with IT.

    -GTI Racing
    -Expand Rally
    -F1 2001 & 2007
-NFS Hot pursuit, carbon & underground
    -Test Drive Unlimited

What else is out there for PC gamers as far as racing goes? Post your favourite games!

    Cheers! :)

Colin Mcrae 2.0 and why not Colin 2005 (forget DirT not worth it but that's my own opinion), Richard Burns Rally is great if you like true realistic rally games and dare i say the only one available and untopped.

Grand Theft Auto is quite good and you get to drive a lot of cars bikes and planes lol

    Juiced was challenging.
Toca Race Driver 3 is old, but still great.

sorry but gpl is a bit overrated, the only thing it's got is old F1 cars with hardly any grip :p, GTR2 and rfactor have much more too offer ...imo

Yeah, I agree with GPL being overrated nowadays. It's 10 years old this year so of course it can't compete against modern sims. It's still very good tho. One of the most fun unknown racing games is NetKar PRO. I loved it back in the day (about a year ago when I played quite a lot of it).

Need for speed Most Wanted was great. I don't know what you people are saying about Dirt. Dirt is one of the best rally games I ever played. Great graphics, gameplay and veriety. The only thing I did not like about Dirt was STARFORCE protection, but I found a way around that issue;)

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to say Toca Race Driver 3. I remember firing up the R34 Skyline for the first time. It was orgasmic (for its time).

I see you also play some more arcadey racers in wich case i highly recommend you to check out Trackmania Nations Forever.

    http://www.trackmania.com/en/index.php?lang=en&rub=nations

Its a really fun and tricky game, lots of crazy tracks and comes with a simple track builder, full online mode with rankings and a car painter and its 100% free. Its bigger brother Trackmania United Forever wich costs about 30$ comes with 6 additional enviroments to race on, all of wich have their own vehicle type with unique handling and additional game modes.

Grand prix legends set the standard for modern sim racing. That said, yes it is old but still fun to play every now and then.

I personally enjoy driving GTR/GTR2, Nascar Racing 2003 season, and F1 Challenge 99-02.
