Hello, i accidently installed a geforce driver via windows update automaticly. Didn´t recognized it, then installed the latest official driver for my 8800 gts card. 1. Would that be a problem, or can i just leave it as it is? 2. Does the Nvidia Driver automaticly uninstall previous versions by default? Greetings
it should uninstall the old driver, but most of the times not all the old driver files are being removed, so there might be some old files left which could cause errors. but if you don't experience any problems then all is fine, if you do, uninstall the geforce driver, run a driver cleaner program and install the new driver.
