well, i tried 3dmark06 with and without one card, practically the same. compared with other benchmarks, its identical to using only one card.

i called ati yesterday and they told me that crossfire is supported but i wont see much improvement at a 965p mobo.

if we can get somebody with 2x 1950pro (uses the new internal sli bridges) on a 975 mobo we'll probably see that my mobo is the problem, not your software.

Shouldn't OverDrive be supported also ? Or does it show good ? (turned off in the ones you quote ray)

And maye users are better off not using ccc and just test att instead

I have to download LAST BETA version. I see no CF reports in your posts.

To all! Never post here if you don't use last beta version :)

2 StrikeQ - Did you read last page? You have to find right Unknown parameter to enable CF on your system and post it here!

To all testers. Do not post unnecessary empty posts here. Its hard for me to find good reports :)

    ___________
So gyuz, I have only 3 results for CF where are the others?

Did 0-33 for the Unknown Parameter:
    0 - Nothing
2 - First time Shutdown Computer - Second time Enabled CF
    Rest - "Error Number 1"

Edit: If you get CF working correctly are you going to add the option to go up to 14x AA in ATT?

Sorry for the absence, I just installed Vista and will give ATT a try later tonight, keep up the good work Ray!

EDIT: Damn, ATT doesn't work on Vista x64, it only runs digitally signed (WHQL) drivers. Guess I can't help. :(

Ray can You or are You going to incorporate the ability to switch between 2 different graphic adapters in a drop down like ati tool, winclk or even rivatuner? With software crossfire or newer dual card setups we are going to be able to match up a older card with a newer cards even though they are different core speeds..mem clks etc. This would be extremely useful!
I have been forced to use these other apps even though I like yours 10x better because of my 1950xtx...and definitely now since i have crossfired cards. I think the new DNA drivers are probably the best third party drivers I have used in a long time..Thank You so much for Your work..and those DNA guys :O) The first time I have actually ditched CCC...the only thing that is keeping this from bieng perfect is the inability to switch between my Cards...and none of the other programs play very well with Tray tools. Again thanks again for all the fun tweaking..and Oc'ing!
Also Software crossfire works for me!!, even though u said you weren't going to support it a few weeks ago, glad it wasn't that different. I have to set the Parameter box to 4 , the computer restarts right then...(don't know if u meant it to do that) but once restarted another check and 4 in the parameter box and software crossfire is enabled...i think...3d mark scores haven't changed too much because I can't Oc that second Card...Good Luck on any improvements and Enjoy!

Not now. Without CF on my hands it will be impossible

I didn't say that I will not support :) I said "may be".
No. I didn't mean it. This is temporarily solution to find what is it that unknown parameter. Now I think I know what it should be. But I need a few reports from other people with CF about that "magic" parameter

I've got a Crossfire rig (X1900XTX with dongle) what do you need exactly?

Okies, I'm using teh ebil dongle in Crossfire and the only parameter that enables Crossfire using ATT is 2. 0 disables Crossfire, definitely. All of the rest of the parameters (1, 3-8) give the Error 1 message. I'm using Windows XP x64, BTW. And my sysinfo:

    Code:
    Before CF enabled in CCC:

    Multi VPU State
    ulActiveAdapters 1

Just to let you know, even if crossfire is enabled, it's not giving crossfire performance yet. I don't know if that's a part of it or not, yet. Glad to (finally) be of help.

Where? In games, test? And is it only if you enable CF in ATT, but not in CCC?

Yes, I tested the Half-Life 2 Lost Coast Stress Test and with CF enabled in the CCC I got about 60fps at my settings, and disabled about 50fps. But when I enabled CF in ATT (and leaving CCC alone) I actually got slightly lower frames, about 45-48 fps. When I disabled CF in ATT, the performance was nominal, 50fps.

It's something I noticed way back months ago when I got my CF card. When I was single card, I only used ATT and the performance was top notch. But when I used CF, I took a performance hit with CF enabled. When I only used the CCC, performance was what it should've been. I thought it was a bug in the "force triple buffers" option or something.

I'll test other games, check the performance and let you know.

    I can confirm this.

Using tray tool I am able to enable crossfire (Two x1900's on dongle mystery option 2 ) I ran 3dmark 2006 to test. I know with crossfire enabled in the first
test I get 59-63 FPS. with tray tools it is 30ish which is single card performance. however monitor programs show slave card has increased it's
clocks and core temp change is showing it's working, but only single card performance..

With CCC i get proper 60 fps.

Strange huh? must be more info being passed to cards?

Hmm, strange. Can anyone else confirm this?
Tomorrow I will upload new beta version with some additional changes. I think MVPU value in registry must also be updated

While you waiting for new beta version can you guyz check this?
Disable CF in CCC and close ccc
    Enable CF in ATT
    Open regedit.exe
Navigate to main catalyst registry path (find it in SysInfo report)
find MVPU variable, check the value, if it has 30 00 00 00, change it to 31 00 00 00.
Reload display driver in ATT in Displays menu
    Check CF performance.

    ray,

I uninstalled CCC.. rebooted. loaded tray tools, disabled and reenabled crossfire. single card performance, changed that variable to 31. disabled
CF then reenabled again. and I get two card performance. so it works!

It just seems when I reboot I have to disable and then reenable CF.

only thing missing seems the AA modes from 8-14.
