Any chance to check ATT with your board on XP? I think this is because of Vista.

And about monitoring graphs. Nothing happened when you click menu item??? How it can be? There are no prevent code from opening monitoring window. The only thing can happened is - monitoring window opened somewhere outside the desktop! This window remember its last positions.
Run regedit.exe and navigate to this key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ray Adams\ATITrayTools
    then look for values
MWLeft and MWTop - This is screen coordinates of monitoring window.

Mmm i'm not sure if this problem can depend on Vista...With my HD2900XT 512 MB, Vista and the latest ATT beta version monitoring works perfectly and 2900XT and PRO are based on the same r600 core..

Just uploaded new beta. Nothing intresting just a few small bug fixes.
    - Hotkey "Reset default clocks" now correctly reset clocks on 3xxx boards
    - Fixed voltage dropdown combobox when no voltage can be selected if board support only one voltage
    - Fixed very strange bug with overclocking HD 3xxx boards, when ATT can set incorrect voltage. Because no one reported this bug I assume that no one found it. :)

Ok, I just found out the reason to my problem with the "jumping temperatures". It is only when I enable my second monitor (Panasonic plasma) that the temperature jumps around like crazy.

With 2 seconds update interval with second monitor enabled: 52->67->59->64->57->63->54 etc.
With 2 seconds update interval with second monitor disabled: 59->60->60->60->60->59->60.

Ray: ATT seem to incorrectly detect the core/memory speed of my card. At first I thought I had my card oveclocked to 850/1050MHz, but when I fired up RivaTuner it said 837/1044MHz, and so did GPU-Z too. So I wonder if I'm the only one that has noticed this? (I have PowerColor 3850 AGP)

Also I wonder if the Overclocking -> "3D Renderer" is suppose to look like this:

Edit: The newest beta-version of ATT does not seem to work right as it stops responding everytime I click on "Overclocking Settings" in the menu. ATT then takes up 50% of my CPU-utilization and I need to kill the process.

Hi Ray, I'm using the latest beta with my 3870, I have CCC mode disabled to avoid hardware reset at each restart, my card is overclocked with 2D/3D profile including higher clock and custom fan settings.

Everything is working fine, do you need me to test/do something ?

Edit: I noted than when shared memory is disabled, the tooltip info (GPU clock) is not updating, is that normal?
Also "ati tray tools" is gone from said tooltip, is this to make more place for other things?

Have you noticed any of the problems (mainly the jumping temperatures) that I have described in my post right after Ray's?

Did the "3D renderer" look like mine in the previous builds of ATT?

By the way, what drivers do you use? I will go back to these official PowerColor Cat 8.2 drivers now:
    ftp://driver1.cptech.com.tw/Driver/ati845/AMD_8.453_RC_XP.zip
As they works better with UT3 (I just tried some new Cat 8.3-drivers, but they did not work any good).

Riva nd GPU-Z reads clocks from registry. ATT reads clocks from Catalyst driver.

And whats wrong with 3D renderer?

Also can someone with AGP version of 3850 give me SysInfo report from ATT?

    Hi Ray,

Tried the beta in windows XP, monitoring graphs work, so I assume the problem in vista is the last location is off screen (seeing as I last used multi monitors with ATT). The overclocking problem still persists in XP, overdrive is broken and the ATT overclocker keeps resetting the clock sliders and voltage drop down menus everytime I click apply, even with rivatuner closed, ATi hotkey Poller service disabled, and a restart. What could be reseting my clocks and voltage to default 2d?

    Ok, I found a bug.
I have the GPU temperature dysplayed in the system tray, but when playing a game it's no longer updated (I'm in dualhead so I can still see it) and stay blocked on whatever temp it was when I launched the game...
It go back to normal once I quit the game.
This was working well with my X1800 and ATT 1.3.6.1042 though.

Hi Ray, and thanks for this excellent tool.
I also have Powercolor HD3850 AGP and am wondering what the PCI latency is supposed to be set to, the box is unticked and number currently reads 255, but not sure if that means that's what it is set to or not.
I had read in another forum that it should be lower, but of course professional advice is always best.

This is not a bug. This is standard ATT behavior. While you in game, no updates for tray icon will be done. No one can see its tray in game , so why to spend CPU times to update it? :)
