2005: Directx 9 2007: Directx 10 Source : http://vr-zone.com/index.php?i=4525 all i got to say is WOW.
i hope ATI will kick the ass out of nVidia, lately nvidia so sucks about driver support, driver issues such s double clock rate instead of 800(400DDR) it's 1600 and on... ATI NEED TO TAKE THE LEAD FROM NVIDIA.
there has been plenty of driver support....everyone has issues. If you think they are doing so bad of a job with them why don't you make the drivers for them so you can get it right. I see this as nothing but another post for 7series and lower card users upset that all the newest drivers coming out are for the 8800's. But you have to understand its a new product and flagship for them so they need to get them right for the new OS and beyond. RELAX!!!
What world you living in? :heh: The DX10 sneak-preview looks so much better and realistic compared to the DX9 preview. Just because the Dx9 version is overly-shaded you think it's better? (it's what makes it worse imo)
It would be more fair if they showed the same picture... they manually added detail in the 2nd one. I don't think DX10 is smart enough to add a hood on it's own
Don't put words in my mouth, i'm talking about driver support long before the geforce 8800GTX, see how many complains has about all 9X.XX series especially with TV-OUT feature, now i and all my friends that have Geforce 7XXX experienced same phenomena on any 9X.XX driver the shadow rendering especially in F.E.A.R is slow and buggy, but in 84.37 the shadow rendering is PERFECT!! no lag no issues...
really no difference, expcet the lips. the skin has no extra detail in the dc 10 picture. why the hell they not give a full body shot.
wow the 2nd pic is somewhat impressive because it looks like graphics technology is coming closer and closer to a camera standard pic quality. rolleyes: i hope you guys know what i mean)
dude, there are tons of drivers out from the 7xxx and up!! Sure some work better than others on some cards but thats just a mix you have to deal with and so does Nvidia.. they are not the only ones that have to worry about that on a driver or software stand point. I can't write drivers so I'm not going to begin to complain about any.. untill I do I don't have a right to do so anyway.
