Release notes with improvements, were can i find them?

 

I didnt see improvements, just bug fixes..none relating to performance in rendering.

 

When installing vista 64 drivers you must pick express for whatever reason if you pick custom it will not install CCC just the driver.

 

Sry for that but i first read this ati driver forum and lol, what i can say?
Its different but mainly the same **** like with my/our nvidia cards....

This game runs on "this" driver and "that" on those etc....

Its really f*ck with all of that hardware bullsh*t, isnt it?

 

also happens on a freshly installed copy of Windows 7 RC but not as catastrophic.

So, it ain't flash. It's either the card or something with Windows. I'm still getting to the bottom of this.

I have issues running online videos fullscreen too (youtube works fine), started when I got my 4890, am running Catalyst 9.6, maybe I'll try 9.9s and see what happens

 

Nice... RE5 benchmark is fixed. I also have the Aug2009 DirectX update installed.

 

haven't checked to see if I can fullscreen online vids yet but 9.9 plus new DX11 drivers = boost in gameplay in Crysis, I'm impressed

 

DX11 drivers? You talking about the new DirectX 9 Redist from August 2009? :biggun:

What kinda boost in Crysis did you get? DX10 mode? Win 7? :biggun:

 

nice set of drivers, improved Crysis overall performance especially when zooming in with the binoculars or down a scope sight. Also when entering a new area the game seems to load a lot faster with these.

 

It will not install for me. It come to the screen where it gives me the choice of install or uninstall and I hit install and the installer closes. Nothing else.

 

Does Crysis still no load when using 64-bit? I kept running into a Black Screen then Crash when trying to run the 64-bit executable. This has been happening for quite some time..

Your IQ looks ridiculously good! How did you make it look so nice. Even if I add 4xAA I still get decent performance but the trees in the distance never look that good, do you force AF in CCC or something, also it may be the screen your playing on because mine is only a 1680x1050 LCD with crappy contrast ratio not sure probs somethings silly like 1000:1 or lower lol. But still that looks pretty sweet.


PS/ nope Crysis and Warhead both run nicely on the 64-bit executable.

 

I feel like a dunce, I just had to run the executable in Vista SP2 Compatibility Mode.

That could be it, is that in Warhead or Crysis?
