Does it by chance fix any of the horrible ati issues with City of Villains? ;p, thanks btw
has anyone tried these yet??? my god 71 mb!!
I can only test them in the weekend. Unfortunely, I don't have City of Villains, so I can't give any feedback : /
Hopefully there will be some Fear optimizations
I hope this fixes my HDTV issues. I have been waiting for this one.
it better fix the lag issue in u. spider man for ati 9600 se
Why even with the 64 bit version is it 71mb? Originaly 100mb! Whats the deal...?
imho the drivers are not really "unified" - inside the single download that works for every radeon card are separate drivers for 9x00,x8, and x10 series.
everytime a new generation is added, a new driver for it gets added to the "unified" driver package, and it grows another 20 meg.
It's not that!
It's the features that keep adding up. Though this one's huge...
Hope they have fixed the BF2 shadow bugs.
The download is so big because it contains both CP and CCC.
it has the CCC and so far is kinda smooth. ^_^ they fix ulimate spider man bug in the ati card that lag in the game. quake 4 play smooth now and this driver has the open gl fix aka more speed in doom 3 and so.
They fix some bugs in Serious Sam 2?) and q4. And they're fully suport X1K Series. Personaly i will stick to my Omega drivers
biggest change is the OGL....
Just curious about one thing... Slightly off topic.
Why is it that these drivers appear on other sites, before the official ATI site?
I'll try it, once I get my X1800 XT next week.
And I can't wait for the ATi version of drivers supporting Dual-Cores.
Supposed to be 5.12 or 6.1.
Crossing my fingers that this will help especially with CoV. I wasn't too pleased with how the PE performed in bi-tech's CoV benchmarks. =(
Unfortunately, I don't have the game yet, but I plan to soon...
All right! Thanks for the heads up.
I was hoping these would be available before the holiday weekend. I'm curious to see what effect the ATI OpenGL tweaks have on my X800 card.
I ran these with AM3 and my results were crap. I got 24k. Needless to say, I switched back.
