Video did playback smoothly at 1080p, also i switched youtube to fullscreen mode and post my cpu usages. I think maybe they are useful for you too.

 

BF3 working well on 12.11 V10.2.
After using the CF switch, GPU-Z reports CF off, but BF3 uses both GPUs.

Ahh you're using chrome. Try it with Firefox instead. You should see artifacts if it's the same bug I'm trying to find a workaround for.

Interesting, What about Catalyst Control Center?

I recommend installing the latest Previous Stable Build of the 12.11 Modded Legacy Driver. You can find it in the link below. For future reference you can find previously released build on the Front Page. Under the Download Link of the Latest Build.

Other Thoughts the 13.8 Modded Legacy Driver is still being work on so bugs such as the one you posted in your previous post still currently exist. However in the next release I will attempt to fix this issue, so hopefully you may regain Catalyst Control Center in 13.8 V4.3.

Ok, Thanks, do you by chance know any games that disable Graphic
enhancement in your Crossfire Setup? Flux mentioned Skyrim disabled features like Bloom however after using the tool he was able see Bloom in Skyrim. So if you do have Skyrim installed I would like you to perform that test for me.

Currently the only game, that I have installed, is BF3, so I don't have the chance to test anything else.

 

@dellon132 v4.2 is very unstable in comparison with V4, the v4.2 drivers crash very frequently with my 4870X2 on Win8 X64 especially with OpenGL applications, with CFX on or off whereas V4 seems to be much more stable.

 

I also tried NeoTokyo, which is a HL2 mod based on the Source engine, and that game also uses both GPUs even if I turn CF off from the switcher.

 

Well the Crossfire Switcher isn't to disable Crossfire but to allow Crossfire Users
to access Single GPU features when playing games that have graphical optimization disabled on a Crossfire Setup. I recommend Testing the Switcher with those games instead to see if they get enabled.

hi dellon i found were the bug come from not showing the powerplan its from you c7xxx.inf
cause other drivers like legacy official have powerplan i think when you tried deleting not useful thing on inf could cause that accidentally?

Any of you users of HD4870X2, have MW3?

I'm getting nuts because of the fps fluctuation on Native quality setting.
I can play Metro maxed out, BFBC2 on max too, Skyrim on ultra w/ shadows on high.

But... MW3 is a old game, running a old beated engine, and still, lot's of tearing, fps drops, with and without AA same fps, same drops.

I just don´t know what to do.. I've installed Kev's, all of Dellon's and oficial ones w/ cap profiling.

Sys Specs: (I know it's aged, but still a capable machine)
CPU and VGA are watercooled.

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.6 GHz (prime stable)
RAM:4GB OCZ PC2-6400 SLI-Ready @ PC7200
GPU: Sapphire HD 4870X2 + EK WB

PS: I've uninstalled KB2670838, just to be sure.

 

UPDATE For x64Bit Users
This update is a performance update meaning
it will either affect performance negatively or
positively.

Notes:
-Updated Driver as an attempt to improve performance
in Dx11 and Dx9 games.
-Updated driver as an attempt to fix bug resulting in
Application Crashes.
-Attempts to fix missing Power options for mobility Users.
-Added the latest version of the Dx9 Switcher to the package
in which it contains the following fixes, Crossfire Switcher not
being applied even though it displayed as enabled and disabled.
Along with a Flash Player Switcher bug where the Flash Switcher
also never gets applied.

Will it also include a fix for the Multi-GPU clock bug?

I will try to get the driver to work as it did in the previous 12.11 V10.2 legacy modded driver.

 

So far so good with V4.3, Multi-GPU clock bug seems to be gone now and overall everything is looking stable.
Going to do some further testing during the night.

EDIT: CF doesn't work with my 4870 X2, couldn't get it switched on as well.
