Hmm, tried this on my Xpress 200M desktop and Windows 7, and my monitor wasn't detected when using DVI (worked fine over VGA); no converters or adapters (monitor has both DVI and VGA).

The monitor worked fine without drivers on Windows and on Linux over DVI.

After installing drivers by Setup.exe my video card is recognized as %AMD9505.15% and after windows restart i am gettting error "Invaild video adapter".

Is there any chance to repair that? Before installation i've removed all AMD services..

Ok. That messages just means use the Chrome Web browser
from Google. I'll Update it later for support with other browsers.

Yea, 4K Videos are very CPU intensive as most Graphic Cards
does not support it. This applies to all Legacy Users. Therefore
the only Users that may be able to play 4K Videos at their own
leisure are Users with an High End Processor.

Hmm, I think this bug has affected Previous Legacy Graphic Cards for
a very long time. Thus I'm not quite sure if a fix may be possible.

    Happy New Year.

Yea, this is definitely a problem. I will have to recreate ID's for Legacy
Users since more than one is broken.

    Other Thoughts
Yes it can be corrected by finding your ID and replacing the %AMD9505.15%
with your Graphic Card Name. You, should be able to obtain the name by
Using GPU'z or GPU Caps Viewer.

    Note:
This Method only applies to Windows 7 Users and Below.

Of course I remember you. Did you follow the instructions I posted
in response to the Bsod bug on installation?

Thanks and I also wish you a Happy New Year. If you haven't explored
the Dx9 Switcher Folder. Please do so as there are several tools that
can workaround bugs and performance problems if they ever arise.

@dellon132 Of course I followed your instructions, but it result in a fail, same BsOD IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. So, I used your last DX9 Switcher, to clean everything, and installed an old build, suprisingly it worked. But I found the problem of messy drivers : I think it the Windows fault : I've used my computer hours this day without connecting to internet, but 5min after pluging my RJ45 cable, Windows updated the driver -> screen messed up and blablabla ... But I found a temporal solution ; it's the HD 5000 which get updated by Windows, so in properties in devices manager, i can restore your driver, and everything comes back ... Until Windows decide again to update the gfx driver etc ... Have you got tips for me ? I've already disabled Windows update !

OH and all my programs are gone from the uninstall Windows menu ... Don't know were they go ?

When installing the Signature Workaround does those Bsods Occur?
To disable Windows Driver Update, Open Advanced System Settings
and Go to Hardware Tab. Next Select Device Installation Option
and choose the Option stating to let you choose your Settings.
After Selecting that Option. Choose the Option Stating to never update
    your Driver Automatically.

    Other Thoughts
When using the Software Cleaner did you select the Option N or F?
F Cleans Entire System and N Cleans AMD Only Packages

F*** I always use F ... I'm doomed to hell *facepalm* You should remove this option, because i didn't thought it will remove everything. Because my programs aren't gone, just the entry in the registry, of each program installed on my computer ... It will be a pain to uninstall right now

Your programs are gone, although some of them may still continue to
function as they did before. The installation is removed. Think of it as
a Quick Format that still allows you to access the Files. (In the Future files
and folders will be removed also). However the removal of files and folder
are not guaranteed unless the Full System Cleanup is Used in Safe Mode.

    Other Thoughts
You should be able to reinstall you Programs as
all files and Folders will get Overwritten. You can think
of it as repairing the installation.

The legacy drivers from AMD (10.2) work fine with the monitor over DVI on Windows 7 and 8.1.

Hmm, so when you re-install the previous driver the bug no longer exist?

Ok, if that's the case, I would like you to install the following
driver for Testing purposes. ATI 9.11 Legacy

Can I use these drivers with my AMD Radeon HD 4350 1GB Graphics card on Windows 8.1 Pro x64. As of now only working drivers that support my Graphics card are 13-1-legacy-vista-win7-win8-64-dd-ccc which indeed are not compatible with latest Need For Speed Rivals game as it is asking for minimum 13.4 Display drivers? Plz help, I'm so desperate to play this game on my system but is plagued by drivers issue?

Dellon just aspires to have the most epic in proportion thread recorded in all history of time on Guru3D crashing the servers. :infinity:

That, or there are far too many problems still remaining to be fixed...

I haven't kept up with any happenings of late...but,

Tis true the thread...rather like a hippes overgrown hair, is in need of a good trim to offer just the meat and potatoes.

Happy new year to all legacy owners whose cards still work after 5 years of constant abuse. :)

The Driver does contain a Workaround for the restriction you are
experiencing. To apply the Workaround download the Latest Dx9 Switcher
uploaded on the front page and run the AMD Settings Optimizer after
    extracting the Dx9 Switcher Folder.

Your Graphic Card along with Mobility Support for Previous Legacy Graphic Cards, were added recently. Another thing that may be useful to you when using the drivers is the AMD Settings Optimizer as it should be able to
Workaround bugs related to Videos Settings in Catalyst Control Center
    Options.

These drivers are far from epic, but I don't mind if it get's there as that would mean the driver is complete. So, only minor updates would be necessary. However, since the driver is not at that level their is still
quite a few things left to do.

Here is a list of bugs
-Crossfire Profiles Missing in Catalyst Control Center
-Dx9 Switch A Broken for HD 5000 and 6000 Users
-AMD Overdrive Tab may still be disappearing for
Windows 7 Users when Uac is not Disabled.
-Flash Acceleration Switcher needs to return
    to the Selection Menu (Added)
-Switchable Graphics Users are experiencing a
Bsod when attempting to install the driver.
-Some Legacy Graphic Cards ID's are
incomplete thus it results in problems.
-Full Software Cleanup (Everything) needs a
prompt to alert users that this cleaner will
clean all installed Software (Will be added)
-Full Software Cleanup is unable to Clean some
files and folder due to the application or software
    being open.

I'm still awaiting your feedback on latest driver.

Thank you for replying! After installing the latest ATI Catalyst 12.11 B11 HotFix 10 P6 V11.10.6.8.5 Un-Official Build (PRE 2) drivers the cc version was 12.1 so, I tried DX9 Switcher BETA 9.10.8.6 to Change the CC version to 13.4 as per the game requirements but getting the error "Ccc.exe" not found. For me this workaround is not working, now looking for 13.4 legacy beta Drivers as these drivers are known to be working with AMD Radeon HD 4350 for NFS Rivals but couldn't find the working download link :bang:

Run AMD Setting Optimizer as an administrator then select
option ONE. Next Type in the Catalyst Version you wish to use
and press ENTER after doing so your Current Catalyst Version
should change to the Catalyst Version that was recently enter.

Really? was your usage of the tool similar to the instructions above?
