Interesting tip Darren,
Definitely worth a try ...
10.9 breaks GPU scaling for me. Everytime i change the source on my amp, and then go back to my HTPC the picture has overscanned again.
10.8 didn't have this issue, so i've had to roll back
Star Craft AA not working with these
How can I check which games the application profiles on the AMD site supports? Is F1 2010 already supported?
Yes it has a profile
Is it better to Download the Drivers Seperate from the Catilist Control Center ?
is there anyway to turn on AA in Mafia 2 on ati cards?
Yes, go to the options, and enable AA
i mean to enable full AA.
doesnt enabling it via CCC help?
With 10.9 I lost AA in star craft. Also AA is not very good in mafia.
The scaling issue still remains.
Let's hope Catalyst 11 will be next gen drivers with new interface, options, all mechanism without dump bugs.
Actually, I noticed the scaling issue as well. I thought it was a temporary glitch, but at every boot my desktop is stretched just outside the normal bounds of my HDTV. This was not a problem in the 4 previous Catalyst releases.
FYI, by simply opening the CCC, the scaling corrects itself. Not perfectly, but at least I get my edges back. Games are all fine and are performing extremely well.
