Well Im getting nothing like that. Same Win 7 64bit and no overclock. Not had one single issue since 10.5a. I bet its your end.

10.8 is working great here so far. Played a few games for a while. No probs.

Dammit 3 drivers straight and still the same problem, maybe because no one reported this? The second gpu won't work at all. Its really funny how the not give a damn about this, if they know.

I've checked the release notes. Just to let you guys know, the Mafia II desktop dimming (lowered brightness) problem is... still there.

Another customer lost here, next time I buy it will be nVidia. Won't be for awhile but I'm sick of dealing with my friends 4870X2 and my 5970 having problem after problem

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and cancel when the selection screen comes up and it goes back to normal. Not that big of a deal.

Got me a laptop with a lower end mobility in it last week which works great for a few games I'll play on it. Vsync seems to be restored (tested Quake 2 OpenGL).

I dont get why they release new drivers if they dont fix or improve anything -and sometimes they break things lol.

I was hoping for K&L 2 crossfire support.

Bad company 2:A little better ingame performance with these, menuĀ“s still slow, but in game is better, not great(10.5a style).

Will test Mafia 2 now. Edit: Mafia 2 is running great with these. Too bad they just cant fix the drivers for Bc2? What is the problem AMD? You did it once, why cant you do it again?? Just look at what you did right with 10.5a, and duplicate it to newer drivers??

I agree that crossfire support is bad now, but K&L2 youre one gpu can handle it with no problem. So you dont really need it in this game, although I still agree its bad support from ATI/AMD, really bad.

Still on 10.5's here :( seems to be the only solution for a very nice card, but it's all about making money and moving on lately :( BUT If i install these how can i check to see if the 2nd gpu is stuck in 2d clocks ??? Thx for the info :)

    No surprises there then...

I read on the 2K Forum that the fix is to disable Desktop Composition or something on the Mafia2.exe file inside the game's PC folder, although I've not yet tried it.
