Can anyone confirm or this driver fixed the textures problem with IDTech3 engines?

 

hahaha xD Another great release I see. I wonder if I can use my monitor again with this version, only been nearly a YEAR that its not working at all..

 

It's a no-go for me. Got installer crash at first run, AA options missing from FluidMark and minor fps loss in Metro so far. Installed 10.8 beta on top of it and all went fine. Moving to 10.8 beta section, see you there)

too many drivers today to try, i think i'll stick with whql as usual.

Why is my 4850 just refered to as 4800 series, yet everything else from 3690 to the 5730 gets its own thingy?

 

Does that even matter much??

That's been like that for ages... ? And like the other dude said ... it doesn't even matter.

 

As above, it is correct, as the 4850 is part of the 4800 series, so nothing to worry about.

 

yes, i can confirm that all the corruptions in quake3/quakelive are fixed.

Can anyone test to see if Borderlands still crashes?

I didn't test them yet, but the borderlands crash is still listed in the known issues, in the release notes.
