Personally if it was me, i would just format. Best way to clean drivers that might still be there even after using a drivercleaner.

They don't use just AFR mode. You can force AFR by renaming the EXE, but ATI take the stand that their engineers will figure out the best optimisations to use and implement them to be used automatically.

Its not as easy as just flicking a switch my friend.

If there are no options ingame for AA or AF. Its either a very old game, or rubbish. ;)

Does anyone heard anything else? Like, if is true that today will be release or something?

    Thanks

I bet 10.1 wont be released today.

Edit: That's very nice to know that you don't need to use driver sweeper. I've always went through the lengthy process of uninstalling the drivers and using driver sweeper etc.. Now that I know I can install a driver over another it'll save me a lot of time and the hassle of doing it.

indeed when drivers are broken, and renaming doesnt work because you want to play through steam.

    Thanks Ati!

it will take 2-3 months to have proper drivers for a game. ati is always one step behind on this one. (exept dirt2 that is :p )

They haven't been confirmed, some random Russian site posted they would be released today weeks ago.

I wouldn't hold your breath to be honest.

I've been using Guru3D's Driver Sweeper for years without any problems. There is nothing wrong with it. If you don't want to use it so be it, but quit bad mouthing it.

Do you people really think Guru3D would publish and give an app its own section in the forum if it would screwup your computer? Really? Get a grip already.

It's perfect for XP, not for Seven, that's all. I killed two installs of Seven before I found it was Driver Sweeper. Been using it for years too, and without any problem, but on XP.

that's a bit harsh...... everyone knows the app is very capable of doing what is supposed to, but no developer can be sure of 100% compatibility.. :)

Does everybody who uses Driversweeper remove WDDM drivers properly? Do they even know how to? Windows auto installs these after removing the drivers then people sweep with these installed and wonder why nothing works after. The last thing you should do is delete system and reg files the OS thinks the drivers are installed.

Its a pointless program that causes more harm than good. Its simply not needed in this day and age,we all aren't running Windows ME for christs sake its moved on since then....

I've used it with 9.10, 9.11, 912 and currently 9.12HF on my win 7 hp 64 bit without a hitch. It's never given me any problems. Same with my laptop, which has a ATI 4850 512MB video card and Vista business x64, since July last year. IMO it is a great app.

thats also a bit harsh........ will you not agree it does what it says on the tin..??, that fact the ATI driver installs are OBVIOUSLY more involved than Nvidia's offerings should not make ppl frown upon the app..??

we've had ATI & Nvidia users alike jump in & say, it works perfectly.

    :)
