It's 8th Jan and I can confirm no CAT 10.1 on 7th Jan.
Yes it sweeps away driver files, whether they are needed or not, I can't dispute that.
ATI release a WHQL certified driver once a month. That means MS has checked them to ensure they are compatible with their OS, this includes the process of installation and removal of them. If they will not install, I'll say again the user will have done something to make their own copy of the OS non-compliant.
Who verifies Driversweeper? Nobody is the answer, it'll work for some and cause major issues for others.
Driversweeper is totally unnecessary.
jes we have to wait for 15January i think ............
May be you are right.........................
They are busy at CES 2010
Another excuse for a delay...
Well ATI drivers never got released this early before, and it wasn't even confirmed by a reliable sources so this was nothing more than a rumor, can't really call it a delay then.
ATI never spoke of a release date on 10.1's. They didn't delay anything. This was just a rumor.
Looks like we had the same idea there. Didnt' see your post till after I hit reply.
where is catalyst seria10?
^^^ My thoughts exactly ... Unless an expected release date is mentioned by someone like 'Catalistmaker' I can't help but to think: first see, then believe.
I expect Januari 22nd to be a more likely release date, based on past experiences. the 15th could also be possible, but less likely. (past releases were most often in the 2nd half of the month, unless an urgent repair-patch was needed).
well...if that's the case im heading off to AMD's website to throw a few FK's into em....:bang:
Here´s hoping for a beta leak?! C´mon some1 @ AMD/ATI, just give us a tasty.
Show me the drivers!!! Or please give me a Beta
Well on twitter they said they got 3D games and 3D movies, soooo doesnt that mean they got 10.1? maybe beta though.
i reckon its released when all that other stuffs over, if Terry's got it then we will have it soon for sure.
You can but that’s only there because there is no profiles in CCC if there was there would be no need and this is the reason we need profiles in the driver I mean its now 2010 and no custom profiles in the driver very bad.
Plus if you do rename the EXE then some games have problems with rendering errors I mean why would they bring out 9.11 hotfix driver for dirt 2 if that’s all that need to be done.
So until we get these profiles in CCC its incomplete but don’t get me wrong I like crossfire but it would not take ATI long to put profiles in would it.
you people crack me up just download the latest certified drivers.
Just use the alt+tab method...:3eyes:
Also, please use punctuation. It helps the readability of your statements.
10.1 Beta is out?
