Ati Catalyst 10.1 Grey Screen hotfix

didnt for me, ive also tryed the new 10.2 drivers and still get grey lines with my 5870 on Win7

 

Are you guys getting grey screens with your systems completely at stock settings? I get them if I push my cpu and ram overclock too far or if I use a multiplier of 20 to get to 4.0ghz instead of 21.

I also get grey screens if I push my cards overclock too far. (Reproducable.)

I never get grey screens at my current configuration..

 

well i did have my system over clocked at 4.0 but i put it back to stock settings to see if it helps but still had no luck

 

Have you checked for recent bios updates for your motherboard too?

 

will check it m8 but i dont how to do it cos its a compter from mesh computers and i though it was different

 

I'm going to reformat my PC anyway since I'm BSODing when playing Mass Effect 2 with my nVidia card. I had to RMA my 5770 so the nVidia was a temp. I need to reset my BIOs as well just to see if these fix those grey screens etc.

After flashing my BIOS to F9 the post screen is displaying my CPU as running at 2.80GHz when I've not even OC'ed nothing.
