Yeah not happy about them doing this, if there is a problem I will disable Crossfire my self if need be and slow down through water is not enough to justify disabling it.

Even TF2 is broken in crossfire since 10.6, I dont understand what they are doing. Stuff that works for months like TF2 and BFC2 and then out of the blue broken for no reason, loss of crossfire for alt tabbing, chanigng resolution list goes on. And things were running so sweet from 9.12 to 10.5.. and then like they got a new crossfire team or something and fuxored everything.

Looks like I'm stuck with 10.5a and new profiles everything since has been terrible unless you just like benching Vantage.

Have just installed this, and I can say, that DXVA in VLC works now.

Both the 10.7+10.8 beta are not good for cfx.. my fps dropped from 175fps normally with 10.5a down to 60-90fps with both sets of beta drivers. It is frustrating but what else can I do.

All of the download links for 10.8 beta are down. Any one know where I can download it for Win 7 64bit?

    Thanks.

EDIT: It's ok. The Megaupload one just came back up.

Stick with the drivers that gave you 175fps? ;)

By the way, what game are you referring to (would be useful to know). I'm guessing Battlefield Bad Company 2 since people who mention framerates in relation to that game have a tendency to not mention it by name except when asked!

I've installed these despite what I said earlier.

If you want the CCC to show the correct 10.7 version then just navigate to the following registry key using RegEdit:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\

and use the Search function to look for 10.6

When you find it just edit that Catalyst_Version key so it reads 10.7 instead of 10.6.

Sure, it's purely cosmetic but it's less confusing if it actually shows the correct version.

I have not. Im always a little weary about doing that incase it causes problems. I guess a uninstall would be an answer but if other users there isn't much difference in performance I think I'll just stick with the .7 Betas.
