can someone with CFX please test the 10.8 betas ?
10.7 beta don't have the option for internet video custom settings. Switching to 10.8
Is there no thread on the 10.8's in Guru3D?? Strange....
Will give these a try anyway later on.
When you clean all older registry and files, with beta, you can't check Catalyst version.
I think it's for it that someone show Catalyst 10.5 or 10.6 with newer beta drivers.
For get it I do:
1) Uninstall from Control panel, reboot
2) ati_cleaner.bat from TwL, CCLeaner and Driver Sweeper.
2) Uninstall VGA Card from devices and reboot (because sometime some old values still on vga configurations).
8.67.2 Beta 5 Win7 x64 in the filedescription but filename is 8.76.2 (same as previous link)..
Not my upload, the previous link for the 10.8 beta was down
There is... kind of... here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=325799
Yeah confused, is there a new 10.8 beta out there or some old thing from months ago?
the 10.8 it's newer then this beta
date stamp state otherwise. Probably due to this 10.7 beta is based on the 10.7 branch while the 10.8 is based on the 10.8 branch.
Going back to 10.5a after trying both .. didn't see the internet video option in 10.8 beta either
I still bet that many people will stick with rfair's 10.8 and skip 10.7 .....
Not me! As far as it goes, those drivers won't install on Mobile Radeons.
I am going to try 10.8 these dont play nice with BC2 and trifire.. DMN IT
For anyone who's interested ,I checked the inf. file from the driver section and those beta-s work for "ancient" AGP HD cards too.
have you tried to mod the .inf ?
That sucks, looks like every single driver after 10.5a sucks for crossfire. WTF ATI?
Here we go again.....
Anyone tried if VLC GPU accelaration works with rfair's 10.8?
I noticed with the 10.6 drivers that ATI are now apparently fond of disabling CrossFireX support for a game if any issues are reported for it, e.g. I reported issues for both Saints Row 2 (flickering) and Blur (slowdown when driving through any water) over a month ago and, lo and behold, come the 10.6 drivers CrossFireX is mysteriously disabled for both games.
I think it sucks that they would do this personally rather than support them properly. Sure, Saints Row 2 is an old game now and poorly coded anyway (still would benefit from CrossFireX however) but Blur is a recent game for goodness' sakes! :3eyes:
Someone know how can VLC works in DXVA mode?
I've tried hardware acceleration and seem works, but not ATi video filters.
This beta totally screwed up my aero, the taskbar dissapeared got tinted screen on my second monitor in eyefinity.
Damn, back to 10.5 the only driver that doesnt screw up my system. Hope 10.7 can be as stable as 10.5 because 10.6 is unusable.
