    If this is a true result then a friend of mine is going to be very happy, as he intends
    to buy 1 or 2 as soon as he can. He could have got a 5970 when his 9800GX2
    crapped out (possibly due to bump prob. & dodgy 'low fan' driver)

    That link http://we.pcinlife.com/thread-1500103-1-1.html is having problems
    it seems to stall after the initial page render. It loads quickly through Google's
    translate but wow the result is a mind melter

    Example :- This will not be too fast a little, a little horror to not believe, really,
    not to say that only 5870 of the optimized enhanced version of Why, this
    is not to optimize it?

    The results look nice, but how do they fare against the 5870 and the 480?

    I have 34.7 with these settings. And that's just a single GPU! SO it is teh true next gen, at least in DX11 - new single GPU performs as well as old dual GPU, that's how it should be... Oh my, now I really can't wait for this 6970 :banana: Bring it on, AMD!

    If the results are not fake, then this monster(6870) have doubled number of SPU on the board, because 3200 SPU on 5970 show lowest result and this nr.(3200)+optimization and high clock on memory show an epic result.
    :banana::banana::banana:

    p.s. and one more thing:ive seen that in the previous screen that was posted with 6870 in other thread it was 8.781 driver,now its 8.786,maybe a leak soon...

    interesting :nerd: i guessed its gonna be around 25-30% faster compared to 5870, but looks like even more, especially tessellation part.

    well maybe, as you can see gpu-z can't read shaders, rop's, and others, or maybe the memory speed is real, and it could be, considering the memory put on the hd6800 is faster then the ones put on the hd5800.
