Aww that sucks. I still plug in the G25, fire up the TrackIR and just cruise The Island in my Miura. TDU2 couldn't hold a candle to it really. It was a watered down joke compared to the original. If they had just fixed the "square roads" it would have been perfect...
What happens when Test Drive Unlimited 2's servers get shut down? I don't play it that often, only every now and again, but I've only been playing it solo with the online features disabled. Would I still be able to play it or would it just not work at all?
this is why games that are 'online only' are a BAD BAD BAD idea...eventually the servers will be shut down..and then you have zero....you dont own anything anymore...and for some reason..this is ok with ppl..ill never figure that out.... Its just like the Elite/Premium packages...you bought images on the screen..but nothing you can hold in your hand....such a strange time we live in...
Eden is all but dead really. The game is still a wreck. I tried firing it up after the last patch/update. No FFB at ALL in my G25(tho FFB "enhancements" where mentioned in the patch notes) It was poor to begin with but serviceable. But driving around with a "limp" wheel is not for me. Even when I was playing it when it was out I spent most of my time at the Casino anyway. It was the only thing that DID work...The Driving certainly wasn't something they put alot of focus on...
It won't work at all, the game simply does not function without an active connection to the servers. I remember pre ordering that game and not being able to play it consistently for the first month. Biggest dissapointment ever.
