And no G-Sync or Free-Sync ? This is a pitty.
1920x1080 is no problem for 27 inch (it is perfect for me). Maybe it is no problem for 32 inch? At least most graphic cards can handle this resolution and provide smooth gaming.

You are saving some GPU raw power by rendering at mere 1920x1080 on 27/32''

But you are paying it by having more aliasing, or by deploying heavier AA pattern, or by having to increase the viewing distance.
That is if you want the same IQ.

I wouldn't go above 24" on a 1080p screen, 1080p at 32" is ridiculous for something you're sat directly in front of.

It’s a monitor for PC gaming at two meters from the screen… I suppose there’s a market for that, but I’m not in it.

    I agree. You are correct.
If I could spend more money on my PC, for sure I would choose GTX1080 (or 2 of them) and bigger monitor with higher resolution and G-Sync. I am sure that higher resolution looks nicer, maybe even AA is not necessary.
But I do not recommend higher resolution for mainstream PCs as it requires more powerful GPU and CPU. I guess we need to wait little longer till mainstream GPUs and PCUs become powerful enough to allow for smooth gameplay on high resolution monitors.
So, I think that the marketing target for this monitor today, is for player who do not own GTX1080 in SLI, and yet they would prefer to play on bigger screen.

lets do 32" led, curvature 1800r, 1440p 144hz adaptive/gsync, va/ips/quantum dot dual displayport only, external 100-250v adapter & without usb hub FTW already?
