I wonder if the BIOS for this board will have the same defective PCIe slot enumeration as the CH6. Asus has been told of this repeatedly and has had months to fix it, with no apparent action taken. Instead, all efforts focus on OC and tweaking memory speeds... Then development time runs out and it's off to the next mobo series.
Looks like a great board but I ask myself is there really a need for such a high-end features consisering ryzen will not be able to go over 4ghz. I would get something cheeper for sure.
I like C6H buttons placement better, this one is maybe ok for open bench but in my case, they would be hardly accessible.
Finally a motherboard with the 24 pin power socket at 90 degree to the motherboard... Not paying $349 for that though...
Bells and whistles oh my, AMD users don't go for that. They only pay for something that works and gets the job done and nothing else. Get it? And yes I will be going back to AMD just waiting for Threadripper then making decision on which CPU I'll go with.
