Like some sad things that are happening in your country, rest assured ;)
But can we not go into politics, yes? We're here for hardware and software and computers, right?

    You are right.

Nobody seems to know this in this thread but this monitor can't input more than 98Hz 4K HDR (4:4:4 10 bit) without HDMI 2.1 so 4K AND HDR AND 144 Hz can't be watched at the same time:

Early adopters will not get the full experience.

    Waiting for HDMI 2.1...

And what you said related to our topic here, I agree with you anyway hehe
Unbelievable high prices for that hardware that could make people think about taking ridiculous steps to pay for those screens ;)

It can do 144 Hz 10-bit YCbCr422 in fullscreen exclusive mode games, while you leave it on the desktop at 144 Hz 8-bit RGB (8-bit YCbCr444 looks bad in 16-235 limited mode, but 10-bit does not). It does the 144 Hz 8-bit RGB on DisplayPort 1.4 with overclocking and without using DSC.

This is the optimal configuration since barely any apps properly support 10-bit on the desktop anyway, and 4:2:2 is bad for reading text even with 10-bit colour.
