ASUS Outs GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER STRIX in a Snow White edition

Where is the white pcb?

 

Yeah where is it? Galax 2080ti hof has it.

 

Galax HOF has consistently been the better high end buy since the old MSI 980ti lightning.
Asus is just being lazy with the match-y match-y system builders figuring that led bling will outshine black pcb

But still cant figure out the hype about the looks. As the stuff sits in my haf 932 just look inside it for the 2nd time this year

 

White with black pcb...this is just lazy...
Something is happening with ASUS - they had a lot of scandal with motherboards after VRM 4 phases lie (advertised as 8), AMD based graphic cards with cooling problems, lazy manufacturing now with this cards - they should wake up - in this industry you go up and down very fast.

 

Indeed looks abit like they got to big = dont care any more

 

It would look great with my Asus Prime x570 pro motherboard which is white on black but i`ve spent enough money this decade lol

Asking for a friend: Did they resolve that bolts on video cards Or is available only on Radeons?
They did resolve hotter VRMs vs other AIBs?

 

To be fair, they would have done much better without the stupid blue accents. They should have taken the photo with the rgb in a more neutral colour, like grey or something. Also, they should have 100% gone with a white PCB. Meh. I don't look at aesthetics when I buy a gpu because I don't look at my case, but this is clearly aimed at people who have cases with tempered glass panels and like to show off their internals. Asus failed here, big time.

 

Would of looked good in my white Lian Li Lancool 2 white. I just bought a EVGA 2080 super FML

 

I agree it would look great in a white case. While it's rare to find a white motherboard they exist but even on a black motherboard the contrast of a white case, black motherboard and a white video card would be really good. Also a vertical mount of the card in a white case would really look great.
