ASUS releases four new PSU models all sitting in their ROG Strix range, these are 80 PLUS GOLD series certified power supply units, including an nice white edition.... ASUS Outs four ROG Strix series full modular GOLD power supplies
Wait, it's not gaming PSU. Booooooo. I want a gaming PSU that spark and glows red whenever I am on killing spree!
my experience with everything ASUS related over 17 years is that it breaks down... and it breaks down fast.... one of the most overpriced companies out there
I wonder if any of those new PSU's have that 12-pin socket that Nvidia are rumored to be using with their RTX 3000 series cards
I was just going to say I never had an Asus part fail me yet going on 12+ Years. Video card,Motherboard,Monitor, Even gaming keyboards/Mice. Its one of if not The Best company out there.
"Great, now they have their filthy tendrils in yet another nice market to corrupt and ruin" - my instant thoughts as I read the title. Same same same same saaaaaaaame! That and their software support is non-existent. Nothing working for my X570 board.
There's a pic right in the post, so no. As for that port, there will be adapters that go from two 8-pin cables to one 12-pin in the video card box if the rumors are true, so it's no big deal. That's what they have always done in the past, with first a molex to 6-pin, and then two molex and/or two 6-pin to single 8-pin. Nobody was forced to rush out and get a new power supply then, and they won't be now.
