Hey team, as stated by the title, my mobo keeps resetting to "Enable" setting in the CSM and I get a CPU fan error .. is this a mobo on the blink, a battery on the way out, or a ghost in the machine?

Any suggestions or thoughts would be muchly appreciated!

Does the Q-Code LED show any digits when you boot up? I have the same mobo and when unusual problems occur, I do the following until everything works right:

    1. Clearing the Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM in CMOS.
    2. Reflashing the BIOS via USB Flashback method.
    3. Boot up motherboard with minimum devices (CPU, RAM, fans, OS drive, keyboard/mouse).
    4. If no problems occur after booting, you can try to change the CSM setting in the BIOS and restart.
    5. If things are going smooth after booting, you can attach other devices you use.

What CPU cooler are you using? Does the date and time seem okay when you boot into the BIOS? Changing the CMOS battery wouldn't hurt.

Hopefully these steps work or you've already fixed the problem!
