    ASUS DARK HERO X570 and 5950X , love this combination with ASUS DOCS , can use the auto route in BIOS, for water preset , AIO with a cold room is needed, or water loop , if you use BIOS preset , PBO / DOCS / CO is preset , colder = better score , your not going to break records , for example R23 , from stock 25400 to 31400 , not bad for something set to auto , or can set your own preset - hit F5 START NEW , DO NOT MIX ! - in DOCS menu ,for my system , my 5950X is Golden , yours may not do as well ! = 1.4 v / 4750 /4700 / 75 amp / rest set to auto , also NO PBO leave on auto, set CO to -20 AC , in AMD OC menu , set to Motherboard ,after setting CO, WHEN LEAVING AMD OC MENU SET TO AUTO !! - optional if needed , CPU offset auto and spectrum disable . now test with default Ram , then move to memory OC , for example , 3800cl14 tuned ,fastest preset is what I have set , you have to find the sweet spot for your system .
    If you don't have the cooling overhead, play with DOCS menu , use 1.160v -4425/4375 , single thread score will remain the same , my R23 score for example would be 29700 , but temps and watts drop like crazy .
    latest BIOS 4001 beta , the best one for my system , so far .

    Hi Hardreset! i belong also to the Dark Hero Club. I started with 5800x and Dark Hero (pre-ordered back in 2020 :D) but was lucky to get mine without long waiting time. I did than an upgrade to 5900x. I believe we also use the same G Skill Ram Kit? i have 4x3800 CL14 from G Skill from one package, manual tuned in bios with 1:1 ratio / 2T / gear down enabled / power down disabled.

    I tried DOCP when i got my 5800x first with Dark Hero and tried this as well with 5900x. I never came so far to find out bymyself how to do Curve Optimizer per core since i do not want to copy paste 3rd systems settings because as we know the performance and temps, airflow, chips quality will always be different on different systems.

    I would like to OC over Bios much more BUT my knowledge about Watts and Volts and all the different bios settings is way not on the level i would like to have before i start to do something there :)

    Your bios settings look like the one from Skatter Benchers guide for 5900x OC with Dark Hero and DOCS?

    until now i have tested each possible beta version from asus web-site and had not a single issue until now. i will go and download it. Actually this time i'm pretty late but i was really busy last weekend!

    Nice one! i had issue like "my cpu is not correct" or wrong cpu family for these settings. And i also had for really several times Code 25 or F9 on the Mobo and not been able to boot. After i could not find anything what could cause the issue, instead to apply all settings back at one time i started with first manual add memory oc and check if system will boot into windows after that manually voltage, manual docs, than enabled pbo then from enabled to manual with adding settings. Still not where i would like to be but with this approach this new bios seem to run really good. I see other people are also strugling but it's not dark hero related. Seem to be here and there some x570 compatibility issue or some users were running very special (or wrong) settings before the upgrade.

    Did you note any system stability or performance increase comparing to 4006? Somehow i cant wait until Zen 4 comes out but at the same time if new CPUs are not compatible with this mainboard or ddr4 rams i dont think i will upgrade :)

    ps: maybe you can try in your bios Core VID 1.300 with all core 47.25 on both ccx? i run this perfect with no issue and manual 1.4V on CPU. i will paste my txt bios settings here tomorrow... maybe if you have time, you will spot any numbers or settings there needs to be corrected :D

    I am in the Windows 11 Insider builds , so some builds are better than others, will go back to the pervious one if I have issues ,so 4006 and this one are about the same for me , as for as 47.25 on both ccx ,with 1.300 , games will have issues , 4650 and 4600 at 1.35 is spot on, with -15 all cores , and 3800 cl14 tuned , not going to upgrade to AM5 ,but waiting for new GFX cards , but if a AMD 5950X3D was made , would get , look forward to seeing your BIOS settings !

    i see. maybe that's the reason why my in-game expirience sometime feels like "hitting the limit" or i dont know...that feeling when it still runs smooth but still kind laggy or more kind even it runs smooth - i have a feeling like i would use too much power or would push the setup too hard on limit :D will try this as well to see how it works.
    And i def learned from the benchmarks one thing: Hitting scores on benchmarks higher than 95% on some 3DMark benchmarks mostly did not shown in my case as best user expirience for daily use or other applications or real games... here are my bios settings:

    But you were already running at 3800Mhz if i'm not wrong? :) But i'm looking forward to see what this kit can do or the performance difference current vs new Ram Kit! :)

    The price was hard to pass up , plus the 3800cl14 will go in my ASUS PRO X470 , it will be fun to play with for sure !

    Huh wow i was not expecting to see something like that :D now i'm even more confused about the correct RAM modules and how to decide what RAM to choose for your system. Can it be that GSKILL native 3800mhz sticks are not the best and would be better to take sticks like 4000 and above and than push them back to 3800 / 1900 to run as 1:1? i never had other modules than these... oh wait i had another gskill Z also 4x8GB B-DIE but 3200 native with CL14. Both of them (4x8GB 3200 CL14 and the new 4x8GB 3800 were 4 Sticks from only 1 package which are also supported and guaranteed to work from the vendor).... dunno... but it's hard since these type of hardware is not something you can like take 10 of them and just try and bring them back at least not in switzerland since here as soon you open a package you lose 10% when you give it back! :)

    4x8 is hard to tune , 3800cl 14 x 4 takes too much V and temps for my taste , 3600 cl14 x4 does as well as 3800cl14 x2 , for now sticking with XMP 3600CL14 -X4.

    well the G Skill 3800Mhz Kit is for each kit default 1.5V i believe? What is your expirience about that kit and voltage? (Ludacris: how low can you go :D)
