    My god, it's only €5000!!!!!

For god sake, even the BFG from Nvidia it's cheaper and it's a monster in size with HDR1000. This crappy oled goes to 330 nits max! I don't even want to speak about some FALD TVs from Samsung or Sony, which are at half of this OLED price. Why Asus, why would you do that???? It's just shameful, really...

Why would ASUS charge a lot of money for a one off OLED panel production that comes factory calibrated vs mass produced TVs on a decade old process? Idk - probably because the intended audience for this monitor is like 5 people.

I have yet to experience even the tiniest amount of burnin on my OLED tv that is now 1.5 years old, with constant useage, used for TV, game consoles and PC. The game consoles and PC frequently sit on one screen, as i tend to forget they are on, for hours at a time.

Now, i'm not saying burn in can't happen, but don't try and blow it up as though it is bound to happen quickly and cause you problems, i have not been particularly nice to my OLED tv, yet i have zero issues with burn in, which is pretty obvious that the issue is not as big with modern OLED panels as people make it out to be.

"for photographers, video editors and other professional content creators with colour-critical workflows" - meaning at least 6-7 hours/day in GUIs with persistent elements that do not move. daily. businesses are pretty good at throwing money down the toilet, so $5000 for something that gets spots on it in very few years is good business for asus, the money lauderers, the middlemen that get comissions on them and for the clueless hipster designers that care very little about what their company gives them to work with.

Lol - no one is using a GUI on this monitor

Reference monitors like these are for color correction/finishing/client previews/reference grade viewfinding for field shoots/etc.

Nothing of what you just said realistically relates to this monitor, its useage, etc. So i really don't understand your point, if there is one.

There was never any point in the 1st place. Just another "I'm gonna bash this technology/product because I can't afford it just to make me feel better" type of guy. There seems to be quite a few of em on here...
