Rain enough people wanted the for corsa. Maybe corsa two will have the weather.
Not really a gt3 guy but wildly popular in sim circles.
September 12th! We finally have a release date!
It was announced during the 24 hours of Spa, which is the biggest GT3 race of the year.
Also for those of you interested in VR, it will be included in the 2nd major public build in October.
v0.2 early access update: Bentley Continental GT3 & Misano World Circuit
v0.3 early access update: BMW M6 GT3 & Circuit Paul Ricard
Really looking forward to this. I love Assetto Corsa and still play it with friends over LAN occasionally. I've never been more than a 'casual' sim racer (~200 hours, gamepad), but AC really suited me and I hope ACC will be the same but better.
i was impressed, until i seen this.
Sexeh. I'm not putting a lot of time into ACC now - I was happy to buy it at its cheap early access price, and I'm happy to wait until the game is finished up a bit more.
I'm glad they're working hard on ACC. I've made it a personal objective to finish all the races in Assetto Corsa's career mode - should be done by the time ACC reaches 1.0 release. The 30 lap races are killing me!
I honestly don't care about the "e-sport" aspect of the game, but hopefully this is an indication of the full game release date (hint: the official Blancpain GT race at Monza runs on April 14th), but knowing they just finished rewriting most of their code (back to alpha 3 in terms of core mechanics and features), I just don't see it happen anytime soon, but feel free to surprise us at the event.
It's unusual for a racing game to release in tandem with a new season. Racing games are usually released around the halfway point of the season, when it's starting to become clear how the real live season develops.
It would make sense to release their 2019 update after the race weekend at the 24 hours of Spa in July (25-28th) or the very end of the current season, but they specifically targeted the full game release for Q1 as mentioned in their roadmap. However I don't blame them for wanting to take the time to polish the game (don't want another alpha 3, 4 or 5), I just don't like the hush-hush mentality.
wonder if it too much to hope they port some of the tracks to the og AC, all these laser scanned race tracks drools.
Alpha 7 update (release)
A lot more on the rating system and multiplayer: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...rating-multiplayer-esports-event-notes.55894/
Also brings brake ducts and tyre damage simulation: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/brake-ducts-and-tyre-damage.55903/
The way it's meant to be played. Also no Epic Games Store announcement, which is good.
Another promotional video by Pirelli, who is the official tire supplier for the Blancpain GT series.
Damn... My target has been to finish all the races in Assetto Corsa's campaign. I've got a few on the last page left, including seven of those 30+ lap races. Late May puts a nice deadline on getting that finished!
gt fans ought to be hype.
Is the game worth buying now? or wait too May 29th
