i'll likely lower a few things and lock it at 60

dx12 makes a huge improvement in regards to cpu

 

Ye but those drops to 4 fps - i doubt lowering a setting will fix that. Probably cpu / ram or driver causing it.

it was at loading i think were nothing was actually rendered

 

im using ZenVPN its free and works perfectly except slow to being just a few thousand miles away lol

 

How do i do it tho?
Like this?
- install & connect vpn to Melbourne
- start uplay and start game
- go offline via uplay settings
- disable vpn

 

yeah mate, but dont need go offline unless you want other stuff running on a second screen or something

i just left it on while playing and then exited uplay and disconnected from the vpn

 

I think buying a console is going to be the most sensible thing to do this time, these intergenerational gpu's have their days numbered.

 

If you disconnect the vpn while playing, the game is going to crash within minutes.

And btw. if you use Ubisoft+ the same happens when going offline.

How is ZenVPN free, if you need a sub for australia for instance? Only free servers are Netherlands and France. Just saying and wondering...!? There are plenty enough free vpn services tho, where you can connect to those regions for free.

I use nordvpn.

 

Been playing for a while and I would say performance is about 10% lower than odyssey. Just seen new drivers so that may help. Had a crash but could have been the vpn playing up.

 

1hour offline now and no crash. Deactivated Ethernet as well so whole pc is offline.

 

Wow, installed the new drivers and the game feels worse now. It's very very heavy in certain areas and I can't see why. Clouds to high won't do the trick this time. Anyone else underwhelmed by performance? I know it's a ubi game but this seems crap even for them.

 

Got vpn connected to Australia but uplay still telling me the game's not released yet....

Think it's because I purchased through EGS - which goes live tomorrow at 4pm, irritatingly.

Cancelled my EGS pre-order, and bought it through Ubi, only for Ubi to have a procreating delay in sending me my activation code......

Why does everything always have to be so convoluted with Ubi?

Anyone else who bought the game on uplay?
If so do u guys see it in your library ?

 

I did and I can't see it, there's a notification on their website saying that there is a delay.

 

Interesting I've been playing on uplay since 1pm? Hopefully they are fixing the god awful performance.
