I've seen NPCs get scared by me fighting those red shirt dudes and they run into the walls and disappear. :D

I think this is the exact same issue I've been having.

oh right, was hoping for some magic game patch. Just installing as we speak. The ubisoft lazyness will no doubt kill my 780ti?

Still think theres sorcery in the air however :)

Guys, can we not just use the sli bits and copy in inspector, that's what usually works?

Sounds like the issue I just started having after trying to uncover all the sync zones.
(Two more regions on the city map to uncover but I can't go near them.)

And it seems someone on the Ubisoft forums has the same problem.

Thought it could be a UPlay server connectivity issue but it happens in offline mode too so it's something with the game, weird.
(Although it is pretty cool to have the game in essentially a "timestop" mode but I can't get in any progress like this. :p )

Just did the first little tutorial bit and just had the cutscene with the chick hacker. Seems to be silky smoothe so far, on the default settings, cranked everything up to ultra bar AA (off) gonna see if that affects things after the game restart.

Great, thanks. I'll give this a shot after I get home from work. What was wrong with SLI in the first place, was the scaling really bad, stutter....etc the usual?

well colour me impressed. After all the horror on performance issues all over the net Im amazed I have none at all.

Just doing the first escape mission with the watch as an adult arno. Game looks stunning and is silky smooth. Runs better than Black Flag. Was not expecting this after seeing other folks issues. Every on ultra apart from AA which is off and 1080p I may ramp up the res to 1440 or thereabouts once im happy ive seen about all the game can throw at us in regards to the giant crowds.

yeah but i have pretty poor eyesight, hard to tell how much worse the fxaa makes the sharpness of the game.

Wow, that sounds good! Wonder how much the fps really goes up (I got the Swift).

    Sure you can :)

Wow? So 970 SLI is guaranteed 60fps, even with 4xMSAA. But on the other hand, they are using a 1k EUR CPU :/

I thought people trolled 3gb isn't enough for ultra and I see 780Ti beats Titan, that extra 3gb doesnt do shizle even at 4xmsaa :p

Well in that case, it'll be even more subjective. Only one who can really judge is you. For me, native resolution of 1080p and only FXAA, blurry or not, looks awful because of the temporal aliasing and aliasing on geometry while moving (crawling effect). Unless the game is really engaging, in which case I can overlook graphics and IQ, it'll turn me off from a game.

    Disgraceful.

Another game where a GPU maker colludes with game studio to push people to upgrade their cards.
