I do not like about the series is that the technical specifications advertised three weeks before the game's released.
    Always do the same
All reservations must be canceled game after because you have enough PC to play :3eyes:

That looks like 576p upscaled, just awful IQ. Whatever they were trying to do with this engine, it misfired.

I'm sure the people who love TXAA think it looks great ;).

I just hope they don't force FXAA into the MSAA options like AC4, otherwise I'll just stick to SMAA or no AA as I won't tolerate a blurry image.

I think there are a combination of things making it blurry though besides resolution and AA 1) The AF is terrible and 2) The LODs seem rather aggressive and low detail which makes the backgrounds looks even less defined.

I was disappointed when they showed that first tech-demo video on youtube. Because i simply knew it wasn't gonna look like that in final build. And it looked damn fine

That's basically every AC ever launched, even on pc. AC4:BF maxed was disgusting, with objects materializing in short distance, you could also see the details on npcs shifting literally few steps from you. I doubt AC Unity will be much different.

Yep, people simply don't learn. They can't blame anyone but themselves for being disappointed by Downgradesoft.

Are you sure that's not PS3 screen shots lol? Those look horrible. Yes I know Unity is only for PS4/XB1. I was just being facetious lol.

Well you hope, but judging from Ubisoft's past I won't get my hopes up. They disabled a bunch of features in Watch Dogs PC version (dynamic shadows from lights, bloom, DoF and more) for parity purposes.

And that all got fixed. All the previous assassins creed games ran great for me and looked fairly good as well.

I think it's fairly obvious that the PS4's screenshot compression, plus the extra compression from uploading them to that hosting website is causing them to look that bad.

Then there's the fact that it's being upscaled to 1080p which causes blur.

There is NO WAY the actual game quality looks this bad, so relax :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the game looked pretty much like that.

But, that doesn't make it a bad game. If it's poorly optimized, unfun to play... has bland characters and a bad story. Then, yes, it's a bad game.

Yeah definitely going to wait and see. The GTX680 requirement to run that after looking at the low end PS4 shots sounds like bull****.

Oh my, where do I begin.
It looks worse than GTAV on PS3. You're in denial if you think otherwise.

Those gifs of E3 footage look next-gen (whatever that means these days), but those screenshots, regardless of compression, really show that Ubisoft has dropped the quality.

It's quite possible that the game isn't even fully finished yet, and all of those early birds are playing an unpolished title.. Remember the original launch date was set for October 28, until Ubisoft announced it needed an extra 2 weeks to polish everything.

Also a day one patch has already been confirmed, and it's probably going to be massive.
