yeah we have the same issue but didn't want to tell u. now u know it. and pls do u have a fix ?
I just finished the game. I had fun with this one.
i liked the tie ins with AC3 and Unity. Now we figure out who actuall killed arno's father.
The curse of being a graphics whore makes me re-consider getting this. It looks quite horrendous. If only it looked on par with Black Flag for PC, at least. I can't see any PC specific graphical enhancements they did for Rogue! Blatant cash-in.
if u r visual master, u wont love this tablet game
Check some screenies to help you .. After some hours doesn't seem so much worse from BF..:
somebody do something for the visuals of this game
SweetFX? mods? AA is so sht!
K-Putt did it again :
Thanks man, your job is really great, keep it up
thanx! but how to install that
It seems that it doesn't work, i just placed the files in the game's dir but nothing.
Win 8.1 x64.
***Edit: It says that it is working, but toggle on/off with scroll-lock doesn't work.
***Edit 2: Ok, i forgot to change the default preset with K-Putt's..I thought his link for SweetFX 2.0/Reshade would have his preset too. Everything is working fine now.
Mr.Bigtime, you just download SweetFX 2.0/Reshade and K-Putt's preset. Then you just copy-paste all the files into the game's directory. Don't forget to replace the default preset with K-Putt's like me
So SweetFx FXAA is better than SMAA. Good to know. Im averaging 55 fps at 1600p with K-Putte's preset on a 670. Very nice indeed.
Any news on the HBAO? It probably not working. Can we force HBAO+ somehow?
HBAO works but not so good.
No matter what AA solution you choose, it will always have some aliasing this game. At least @1600p isn't so bad.
Patch #1 fixed the fps slowdowns.
Captured a "Man-o-War" for the fleet mechanic, even with a fully upgraded ship it's still quite a tough battle, especially if other ships decide to show up as well.
Couldn't see anything for the smoke and debris once we began broadsiding one another and when I did get it damaged enough for boarding they had a small army ready to meet the attack though getting their flag wasn't as difficult minus a sniper positioned up there.
The best experience I have till now on a similar situation was that 1/10 of sec before "holding S to board" was completed another enemy ship boarded on my ship...a good one I must say.
It is my understanding that Rogue is based on the same engine as Black Flag. I know for sure my rig can't play Unity, but I think it can play Rogue. My question is: can I play Rogue before Unity, storyline wise?. Or will it spoil Unity's story in any way?
I don't think they're closely related, you're good to go either way. If it makes you feel better: X360/PS3 gamers are doing exactly what you're doing, playing Rogue now and Unity later.
Thanks twonha, I'll keep that in mind. It looks like Rogue has null incidence on the main storyline anyways,
like Liberation where you never exit the Animus
Found a temporary fix for conflict with ObjectDock : start the game with a shortcut key ( ex. Ctrl+Alt+R) added to your desktop game shortcut. No need to unload ObjectDock.
Thank you for that. Glad to see that I am not alone in experiencing that issue.
Weird how ObjectDock works fine with all the other Assassin's Creed games though, including Black Flag and Unity. :3eyes:
