Assassins Creed III Thread

I remember really liking the graphics in AC2 and thinking they were a step up from the first game, this was a few years ago though.

I do remember Brotherhood looked noticeably better than AC2 though, while also performing better, that might of been a DRM thing though.

Apparently there's some legal reasons as to why Desmond's face changes. I'm sure some Googling would uncover that.

 

Desmond's face has changed a little from game to game... but the change in this one is way too drastic.
But, Desmond's sections are the weakest parts of all the AC games. Personally, I wish they were just not there. I loved AC 1,2 and Brotherhood... but hate playing them once Desmond comes into play.

But, considering they farm off Desmond's sections to another studio it's not surprising they kind of suck.

 

if you never play ac you will not understand the game
the explain a litle bit in strat of the game
grafiks are asome snow tesssalation and some teretain good smoke fog effects
blod effects the story is good
im not gona play other game until i finish this game - or until farcry 3 out
the maps are big FOREST FREEDOM i like walk in forest and kill people :nerd:

A little comparison in performance, also has min-max detail comparison and a MSAA4x+FXAA (AA set to high for other cards.) and TXAA (AA set to high for NV cards.)

Well with your hardware I can understand that.
(Runs at around 45 - 50 FPS here which I don't find too bad.)

EDIT: Aha I made a mistake.

 

That video finally puts to rest all this 60 fps nonsense - 1 or 2 fps is plenty.

Great DX11 perf, with TXAA enabled. Framecapped at 60 have not had any slowdowns at all. Finally an AC title on PC with increased view distances!!

 

it looks like my old Athlon64 X2 would be fine then :nerd:


btw, have yet to finish revelations :bang:

 

Slowdowns in Boston. Gtx 680 and get fps dips like to 40fps....

Maxed out TXAA..

try overclock the videocard to 1300-1400 mhz if it help
this ia because 99 gpu usage so draw distace is big
and today hardware cant render it properly

i ges that 2 680 cant run 120 fps 3d
